Expectations

Albus Severus Potter

Albus could easily say he hated his name. Albus he could live with, while he was rather manipulative and had plenty of flaws, he did try his best and was only human. He would rather not be named after one of Hogwarts most famous headmaster's but he could live with it, he could live up to it. Severus, however, do not get him started. 

There was a million reasons to not have Severus as his middle name. The reason he hated it most though was because it made so many wary of him. Severus Snape was hated by almost everyone, those that didn't hate him didn't necessarily like him either.  He couldn't see why his father had to name him after him. It didn't do him any favors, at least the people his siblings were named after were liked. 

He loved his siblings a lot. He could do without all of Jamie's teasing but he understood it in hindsight. Jamie had a lot of expectations as both the oldest and being named after war hero's. He'd never tell Jamie but he did find some of his writings and loved the books he had written as a teen. He also found his journal once. Best. Day. Ever. Jamie hadn't known where he had learned any of the things he had and he wasn't going to tell him. 

When Jamie had left after his graduation Albus cursed him to hell and back. Jamie left him to try and fix Lily, Merlin knows how his parents were too blind to notice. He had tried, he tried so much. He just couldn't. When he found Lily in a pool of her own blood he hadn't cried, he'd expected it. He never returned to his parents house again though. At her funeral he bite his tongue and didn't yell at his parents when the asked why their daughter had gone the way she had. They should know, they caused it.

He dated Scorpius for a time but they broke it off on neutral ground, they were better off as friends. In the end he wound up with Alice Longbottom the second. Hugo hated him for it. Hugo had lusted after the witch in a way the Albus felt was similar to his namesake Severus. Rose tried to talk sense in her brother with but to no avail.  He, Rose, and Alice were walking in Diagon Alley one day when Hugo attacked him. Alice moved in front of the emerald curse and was dead before she hit the ground.  Albus attacked Hugo in revenge. Both cast the same spell at the same time. Both saw the color green last. 

N.A: Sorry for not updating in forever, I had absolutely no idea where I wanted to take Albus in life. This is my fifth or four time rewriting this and I honestly don't like it that much but all well, I'll fix it up with time. Please point out any errors and just give your general opinion, it would help. I'll try to get Lily's chapter out soon, I know what I want to do for her so it should be easier. I just jinxed myself didn't I? I might also write about some of the other Weasley's. Would any one be interested or no?
