Mix-ups?

Chapter 1: Author's note/Introduction

Hi! My name is Nikita and this story is based on an idea I got during my summer holidays, so please excuse any parts you don't understand!

First off, I'd like to make it clear that I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER, just the storyline.

The characters in this story are a bit different from the original ones, and I've also added a few OC's.

Hermione isn't Hermione Jean Granger, but she is Hermione Katherine Weasley. Her parents are Christina Parkinson (Pansy's father's younger sister; she is an OC) and Billius "Billy" Weasley (I remember reading somewhere that Ron had an Uncle Billius who was his namesake, I've kept him as one of Arthur's two brothers as he's not one of Molly's siblings). Her parents often took her to the Burrow to meet her father's side of the family. She is well aware of her magical heritage and even knows that her mother was disowned by her family and shut out by her friends for marrying a blood traitor.

Christina Jane Weasley nee Parkinson is Pansy's paternal aunt. During her Hogwarts days as a Slytherin Christina was inseparable from her closest friends Narcissa Black and Katherine Greengrass, both of whom fondly referred to her as 'Tina'.

Katherine Greengrass is a distant relative to Daphne and Astoria Greengrass and is Pansy Parkinson's mother. Both herself and her other closest friend Narcissa Malfoy nee Black deeply regretted not standing up for their sister-like friend Christina whilst she was disowned but were unable to do anything about it as both were married to blood purists.

Also, Regulus Black is alive and married to Marlene McKinnon, and they have a child called Cassandra Black.

A young Minerva McGonagall found love in Tom Riddle, whom she later went on to marry although they don't have any children.

Lily dated James briefly but left him as it didn't feel right. Both moved on from the break-up and found love in Severus Snape and Andromeda Black respectively.

Ron isn't actually a Weasley. He was given away by his biological parents as a newborn to the Weasleys as dictated in the will of Ron's biological grandfather. I'm not gonna reveal Ron's real family just yet, but he has a twin brother.
