Avalyn's pov

A lot of people think that when you're with friends and family, you're going to have a good time. You'll go do something with these people and it'll be super fun and you'll wish you you could do it all over again the next day.

That isn't how this day or the 9 months after felt. All I wanted to do was cry and be left alone.

My boyfriend, brother and 2 best friends had other plans though.

We'd gone to the movies and it had been fun. Alex had to leave early but since we were his ride home, Ashton had driven him there. My brother had a kid at home and when his fiancee had texted him saying that their son was sick, he'd rushed home instantly.

After that, it was just Alyssa, Amanda and me. We enjoyed the rest of the movie and then Alyssa had left. She lived in the aprtments not far from campus because she didn't like the thought of her roommate not being me or Amanda. Alyssa had trust issues. And a lot of them. But we loved her just the same. Amanda and I were in different dorms, so once we got to campus, we split up.

That was the worst mistake we made.....

"Well, tonight was fun, wasn't it?"

"Yeah. It was. See you tomorrow, Amanda."

     "Yeah."

Amanda ran off towards her dorm and I turned to go in the direction of mine, which was a little further.

I was almost halfway there when someone grabbed my arm.

     "Hey, Avalyn. Where you going?"

I couldn't see who it was amd I didn't recognize the voice. I knew I had to get out of the situation though.

"Um....nowhere special. Just my dorm. Why? Who's asking?"

I tried pulling my arm out of his grip but he just held on tighter.

"Yeah. Like I'm going to tell you my name. I'm not stupid, Ava. You'll just go tell the police that I did it."

"Did what? You haven't done anything. And if you let me go, there's nothing to tell."

         "Nothing to tell yet."

     "What?"

He didn't say anything else. He just pulled me into a hidden area with no cameras and where campus police didn't look ever. Nobody even came near here. So he could do whatever he wanted and nobody would ever know........

I didn't want to feel anything he did so I blocked it all out. I knew no matter how much I tried to fight, I wouldn't be able to fight him off. He was stronger than I was. So I had to save my energy. My brother and his fiancee didn't live far and Ashton lived with them so I had to save my energy. I knew I'd be walking the 2 blocks from school to my brother's house. I was not staying on campus tonight.

      Not after that.
