A/N Hey people! So this is obviously a brand new story line, it has nothing to do with my other story lines from beforehand, but I really hope that you enjoy this, I'm going to try my absolute hardest to upload almost every other day. Anyway I'll shut up now.... ENJOY!!
"Di, where the fuck are my shoes?"
"What? Joe come on we're on stage in 2 minutes, get them on right now you idiot!"
It was the final weekend of the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour, but more importantly it was the final weekend that Joe would ever get the chance to dance with Dianne in front of thousands of people. But it wasn't the thousands of people watching him perform that Joe was going to miss - he was going to miss dancing his heart out with his girlfriend by his side everyday. But at this very moment in time, Joe was missing his shoes - which when you're dancing tend to be quite important.
Eventually finding them and whacking them onto his feet, Joe got up, brushed his hair out of his eyes and headed onto the stage to do his Charleston for the second time that day in front of the sell-out O2 crowd. Lights on - hay bales in place - band ready - this was it. Show time...
...
"26 shows! Who wins 26 out of 27 shows so far?" Flailing her arms out in disbelief, Stacey was once again questioning how much luck both Joe and Dianne could possibly have. Joe, feeling understandably smug, wrapped his arm around Di as the 3 of them walked away from the arena and back up to their hotel rooms, for one more night away. A huge smile plastered across his face, Joe looked at Stacey and held Di tighter towards him.
"Well Stace, when you have a professional partner as good as mine, its only natural that we start winning stuff." Saying nothing in reply, Di looked up at Joe and smiled widely at him in gratitude, the dimple on her right cheek coming into full view - admittedly making Joe's heart skip a beat.
"Alright Joseph keep it your pants whilst I'm walking with you two still." Replied Stacey sarcastically, causing both her and Di to burst out into laughter whilst Joe stayed silence, feeling an embarrassed blush come onto his cheeks. "Anyway remember who won the actual show Mr Sugg. You may have beaten me and Alijaz a few times since but don't think that you and Di won't be the only ones to own a glitter ball trophy." With no immediate comeback to Stacey's perfectly valid comment, the three of them continued to laugh and joke all the way back to there hotel rooms. Much like they had done after every show together for the past month. Stacey, Joe and Di never got bored of each other's company, and never had a dull moment between them. It was the moments much like this that all of the cast cherished whilst they were on tour, but somewhere in the back of their heads, they all know that at one point the laughter would come to an end and normal life would have to resume for them all.
It was a bitter irony to the joy that came with touring - having to travel hundreds of miles to be with each other doing what they loved, to eventually travel hundreds of miles to be apart again. But it was an irony that was worth putting up with for the millions of perfect memories they would all carry with them. Eventually getting to their rooms, Joe and Di left Stacey and instantly found themselves collapsing onto the Bed in their room, the events of the day catching up on them.
Dianne's POV:
"Di!"
As I finished up in the bathroom I heard Joe call me from our bed. Throwing my hair up quickly into a messy bun and turning off the bathroom lights, I headed over to our bed and got under the covers next to Joe, looking at him intently for the first proper time today since I woke up next to him, I allowed the dull yellow lighting of the room to accentuate his tanned skin, muscled physique and bright blue eyes. There are like a million reasons as to why I was with Joe, and although I was always more attracted to personality rather than looks, I found it genuinely unbelievable that a man as handsome and fit as Mr Joseph Graham Sugg was with a girl like me. But nevertheless, here we are - and I wouldn't have it any other way.
"You didn't hear what I said did you?" Joe's accusation brought me out of my trance and into the real world once again.
"Sorry no. I was distracted by... well... you" Joe knew I had the attention span of a four year old so for me to not be fully paying attention to what was going on was not an unusual occurrence in our lives.
"Understandable" Joe smirked, flexing his arm muscles as he sat up with his bare back against the head board of the bed, causing me to laugh and gently hit his arm. "Anyway, what I did say was that I just wanted to thank you for these past few months - with the competition and how great you were with my family and now with the tour - you work so hard and... I mean in all honesty I know for a fact that I wouldn't have enjoyed this half as much as I have done if it wasn't for the fact that I got to do it all with you. So thank you."
His words were sweet but I felt exactly the same. All the celebs spout off how amazing us pros are, but when it comes down to anything in the world of dance, you are only ever as good as your partner can make you look. "Thank you Joe, but you should know that I feel exactly the same about you - I mean my time on the show in 2017 was good at the time, but now that I got to experience the show with you it has surpassed all of my expectations, and I can't wait for what happens next."
Scooting down the bed and opening his arms, I rolled into Joe's body - lightly pressing my lips onto his, I snuggled into his body and allowed the warmth of his protective arms to let me to drift off into a much needed sleep with the perfect man by my side.
A/N I really hope that you enjoyed this first part, this is obviously just setting the story line up so it might not be the best. Either way I can't wait to write this new story - thank you for reading it lotta love for you all x
