On my adventure to find food I ran into Alex. She was at the Vending machine having a mental breakdown because it took her money and wouldn't give her, her Hershey's bar. "Where's the best place to eat, I'm starving" I asked her once she finished rambling on about the vending machine. "Definitely Ruby's Diner" "Okay well you wanna get food with me?" I asked her "Considering I didn't get my candy bar I guess I could go for a Sunday or pancakes" She answered excitedly grabbing my arm and leading me in the direction of the restaurant.
We walked about 10 minutes or so before she stopped at a old fashion 80s themed diner. "This place is so cute" I told her as we walked in. "I know dude. And the food is honestly the best on campus and the owners are the sweetest old couple they come out and talk to all the students, everyone loves this place." She was in the middle of talking when my phone rang and my dumb ass completely stopped paying attention, before I knew it I walked straight into a wall.
"Jesus are you okay" A sexy husky voice said as he grabbed onto my back for support. When I finally realized it wasn't a wall I looked up to be greeted with the most gorgeous blue eyes.

"Yeah. I'm sorry I'm a mess" I responded nervously. "Don't worry about it. Are you sure you're ok?" He asked sweetly. "Yes thank you" I said with a smile. He didn't say anything after that he just kinda stared at me for a few seconds. I was going to ask him his name but before the words could even leave my mouth he nodded and walked away.
"Holly shit" I thought to myself as I tried to calm my racing heart rate. "What the fuck was that?" My thoughts were interrupted when Alex asked me if I was okay "Yeah I'm good let's get some food" I said pushing the thought of that sexy stranger out of my mind.
After about 2 hours of eating and talking Me and Alex were both full and exhausted so we decided to call it a night. It was now almost 11:30 and I had to be up early tomorrow for orientation. After we reached our appointment complex we said our goodbyes and went to our rooms.
Today was honestly amazing. I was actually starting to feel at home. That little diner really is the best place on campus. I can't wait to see what this place has to offer me. Things are look pretty good so far. As soon as I reached my room the hot dude from the diner approached the door right next to mine. He didn't say a word just opened the door and walked in.
"Hmm I wonder what he's doing over here there's no way he can live there, this is the girls side of campus?" I pushed those thoughts away when I finally got my door open and was greeted with the cold air from my air conditioner. "Home sweet home" I thought as I turned on my lights and looked around.
After a much needed hot bath I turned on the tv and claimed into my new cozy bed. I just kinda laid there clicking through channels until I finally decided on The Office my go to late night show. After awhile my eyes started to get heavy indicating I should probably go to sleep so I turned of my tv and night side lamp and curled up to my fuzzy pillow and fell asleep thinking about what tomorrow will bring me.
