Chapter 1

Have you ever felt something inside just break? Like it shattered into bits of pieces and just drop? Or have you felt your stomach drop and my mind jumble up?

Well, that’s how I felt. Knowing that someone you care about just walk up and leave with no reason at all, it hurts so bad. It hurts like a bitch.

So, imagine how I felt when I woke up that morning and hearing from Naruto that Sasuke left last night to go the that one guy I feared the most. Trust me, I felt like I was just betrayed. I felt like my childhood was going to happen all over again.

For the past 3 years I’ve been thinking just that. Why did he leave without a word? The only person that talked to him the time he was leaving was Sakura, but that’s it. In my heart I’ve been wondering why he didn’t tell me. Even though we barely talked, I felt like we were connected in ways. We could relate to one another. I guess I was wrong.

However, by the way I’ve been observing the former team’s cooperation, I knew how arrogant of a person Sasuke is. I knew he didn’t like his team. Although he can’t say he doesn’t like Naruto. I know that deep down they were close, even if they’re rivals. I knew he wasn’t the type of person to share his feelings, but why did I find him so interesting? I never knew why.

I drifted my mind away from this. I tried my best to forget everything about Konoha. I knew if I keep remembering the best place of my life, I would surely go mad. I shook my head from the memories.

A loud bang on my door turned my attention away from my thoughts. I got up from my bed and slowly made my way to the door. I opened it and saw Kabuto. The smirk on his face made my stomach dropped. Again?

I was pulled away from my comfort and already down the hall. Two ninjas stood behind us so I wouldn’t escape again. Once at the medical room I was roughly pushed forward and the door shut behind me. I turned around and saw that I was alone. I raised my eyebrows, confused. What’s going on?

I slowly made my way to the bed and sat down. After two minutes the door open and Kabuto was back. The two guards were behind him. As he entered the room, he closed the door. I already knew that the guards are right behind that door.

Kabuto looked at me with amusement in his eyes. “Kai, are you ready?”

I grunted at his amusement. He just ignored it and injected the substance into my body. In seconds my eyes widen as I felt pain spread throughout my body. A shrilling scream escape my lips. The pain spread throughout my whole entire body before my mind went blank. My head because dizzy, and my eyes drooped.

The last thing I remember is feeling the pain subside and Kabuto evil smirk.

Waking up I couldn’t open my eyes. However, my ears heard faint voices. I slowly open my eyes and found myself in a dark room. The voices came from outside the door. I can recognize them as Orochimaru and Kabuto.

“Well, how did it go?” I heard Orochimaru hissed. Every time he talked it sounded like a snake, and it made me shiver. Kabuto’s voice was faint. All I could make out was: “injection…insignificant signs.”

What the hell did that mean? Suddenly a shot of pain came through my head. A quiet groan escaped my lips as I close my eyes. After a while it subsided and I sighed in relief.

I went to go pay attention to the conversation outside of the door but they were interrupted by a voice.

“What’s going on?” a male voice demanded. The voice sent shivers throughout my body. Who is he?

“Ah, Sasuke-“ Wait, did he say Sasuke? My eyes widen as my head snapped to the door. He’s here. Did they bring me here? Why?

Deep down I was happy to know that he was here. His voice has gotten deeper throughout the years.

“Who’s in there?” he suddenly asked. My eyes widen as I heard this.

“None of your concern, Sasuke” Kabuto said.

“Come now, we have to start your training, of course” Orochimaru said, trying to persuade Sasuke to forget. I heard no response, but heard footsteps. I let go of my breath that I hadn’t notice I was holding.

The door opened, and I snap my head towards the door, only to find Kabuto there. I sigh in relief. I thought it was Sasuke.

“Your body is in perfect condition. However, you will receive major headaches for a few days” Kabuto said. I kept silence, but nodded my head in understanding. I was allowed to leave.

“If you have notice we put you in a new hideout. I’ll show to you room. You are order to stay in that room at all times until we come and get you.”

I stood up from the bed, noticing how dizzy my head was. However I managed to follow Kabuto all the way to my room. Once in my room Kabuto shut the door. I immediately went to my bed and closed my eyes. Suddenly I was engulfed in blackness.

Hello Wattpad! So, I finally wrote the first chapter of Crimson Eyes. I know some of you are SO confused about what’s going on but you’ll understand as the story goes on.

I deeply do apologize for the FOREVER update. High school had literally been killing my brain cells, which made me have major writer’s block. But now I know how this story is going to go. I have the plot stuck inside my mind.
