"Are you serious? You don't like strawberry ice cream?" Antonio asks the next day when we were coming up with ideas for the Science Fair in the kitchen.

"Yep," I say smiling evilly.

"Wow you are strange," He says going to the fridge.

"Whattt are you doing?" I say looking suspicious.

I see him get a bucket of, wait, what is that?

Oh no. It's strawberry ice cream.

What is he doing?

He slowly takes the lid off the ice cream and grabs a spoon.

"What are you doing with that ice cream?" I say slowly while getting up.

"Oh, nothing." He says smiling evilly and shrugging.

He slowly approaches me and I back up until I hit the wall.

Oh no.

He takes the spoon and gets a scoop. He slowly goes up to me until we are less than an inch apart.

"Open." He says staring into my eyes.

"Never in a million years," I say slightly nodding my head.

"You know you have the prettiest baby blue eyes." He says smirking.

"Whatever Martinez, you just want me to eat the ice cream," I say rolling my eyes.

"Or else." He says seriously. But I can tell he is joking behind it.

"Or else what?" I say with a challenging tone.

"I'll tell everyone about your worst fear." He has a slight smile which makes me roll my eyes again.

When I was 7 I was playing outside when I heard a slight meow, of course, me being me, I went over to investigate, I went over to the side of my house and saw a hairless cat. He hissed at me and I ran because I thought ALL cats had hair. Since then I have been afraid of hairless cats, and unlucky for me, I told Antonio like a dummy.

"You wouldn't dare," I said, still challenging him.

"Oh yes I would," He said grabbing his phone from his pocket and waving it at me.

I sighed defeated, I nodded and slowly opened my mouth, then he did what I never expected.

He put the plop of ice cream right on my nose.

"Seriously Antonio?" I say going to grab a paper towel, he grabbed my wrist.

"I got it covered." He says as he takes his finger, wipes the ice cream from my nose onto his finger and eats it.

I laugh and roll my eyes. He is such a dork.

"Is your Abuela home? Cause your acting like my 'boyfriend'" I say putting air quotes around the word 'boyfriend.'

"Yep," He says and then leans closer. "and I bet she is listening to us."

I laugh quietly and grab a chip. "Probably."
