2 months later.

"My guy you have noooo type of taste. You want me to agree with you saying that Beyoncé is badder than Rihanna but that's bullshit." Tyrese yelled across the table to Joey.

"You the one with no taste. I'm not just thinking about the looks, it's about the money too. Bey is way richer than Rihanna's broke ass. Matter of fact, she could buy Rihanna if she wanted to-"

"Pause. You pushing it, my girl cannot be bought, don't even play with her like that." Tyrese scrunched his face up causing the whole table to laugh.

Toni giggled and turned to me. "Hey girl." She smiled and reached for a hug.

"Hey." I returned the smile and the hug. "You look cute." I complimented her.

"Thanks and you do too. Where's Ari?" She referred to Sy'aire.

"She's finishing up her test for Brandon's class, so she'll be here in a few."

"Oh yeah, I heard the test was hard. Is it?"

"To me, it wasn't because I already knew most of the stuff and he had a few notes on the board to help us with it, so you should pass."

"Cool, cool." She took a seat next to me.

Toni, Tyrese, and Joey have all became me and Sy's new group of friends since we started here. Tyrese and Toni were both Sophomores and they were together, they say they been together since their freshmen year. We met them during our lunch period in our second week after we met Joey.

Joey is a freshman with us and him and Tyrese are basically best friends. They grew up next door to each other and for a little bit, Joey had lived with Tyrese when Joey's mother had went to London because of her job. They call each other 'brother' because they say that 'best friend' is a gay way to refer to a male friend but whatever. I met Joey in my biology class because currently we have a year long project and Joey is my partner. He sat with us one day at lunch to discuss something and Toni and Ty were looking for him so they just joined our table.

Sy walked up and plopped down in her seat and blew her breath. "That test was the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life."

Toni looked at me with a worried look. "She's exaggerating, it's not that bad and you're a sophomore so you'll know most of the test anyways."

"Nooo he changes this dumbass test every year so it's different from last year's." Toni whined. I shrugged and continued to eat my fruit.

"So y'all homecoming coming up." Joey said once him and Tyrese were done arguing.

"Right who y'all going with?"I asked them.

"I'm going solo dolo." I nodded agreeing with Joey.

"Well y'all know we going together." Tyrese put his arm around Toni.

"Well we can go together Joey." Sy offered.

"Damn okay, just leave me out then." I said causing everybody to laugh.

"Girl shut up. Would you even go with Joey if he asked?"

"Nah I wouldn't have so y'all do what y'all gon do." I laughed. "I'll still be in all the group photos though."
