•Leilani POV•

•Flashback•

I ran from mommy to go play in the meadow in my grandma's backyard.

It was full of bright yellow sunflowers, that shone so bright in the sunlight.

I ran through them and I started to smell them.

Mommy always told me to smell flowers because of how amazing it smells. I love picking flowers for her, she smiles when I give them to her.

One day when I was running in the meadow, I tripped and started crying.

This little boy with dark hair helped me up and dusted me off.

"Thank you," I said shyly with a smile. Mommy always told me to say 'thank you' and smile.

"You're welcome, I'm-,"

•End of Flashback•

I woke up breathing very loudly, with my heart beating fast.

Where am I?

How did I get here?

Last I knew, I was in my house and Noah was there right beside me.

"Hello?" I called out, to see if anyone I knew was here.

The door in the room I was placed in opened, Luke ran right in with Noah following behind.

"Ahh, finally you're awake," Noah said walking over to me to give me a hug.

Another person walked in as Noah and I were hugging. I had no idea who he was, he didn't look familiar at all.

Luke looked mad for some reason, but I didn't know why. I don't really know anything about this gang at all.

Noah is the one I know best, but I think Luke is helping me.

I'm still confused on how Noah found me.

"Leilani, this is our personal doctor, Joseph. Joseph, this is Leilani, the girl we saved." Luke introduced us.

Oh, so he was the one who helped me. Did he fix my leg, what was wrong with it? How bad was my cut?

Noah then went on telling me all about my leg and how Joseph helped me.

After his explanation was done, I thanked Joseph with a smile, just like mother taught me.

"You need to take it easy for awhile, sweetheart." Joseph told me.

He seemed really sweet.

"I need to give you another pill for your pain," He said giving it to me in a cup and a glass of water.

I swallowed it and fell asleep once again.

When I awoke, I saw Luke fast asleep in the chair beside my bed, holding my hand.

It's a little weird waking up to someone holding your hand when you don't know them that well.

He looks so cute while sleeping though.

I let go of Luke's hand and fidgeted until I'm comfortable.

Noah walked in moments later with Max.

When Max saw me a huge smile lit up his face.

The second that smile broke I started crying.

I missed him so much.

I haven't seen him in awhile. I hope the twins and Noah were taking good care of him.

"Come here, Max. I've missed you," I said opening my arms, wanting a hug from my little brother.

He ran into my arms and gave me the biggest hug ever.

"I missed you sissy, where did you go?" He asked with the cutest pouty lip.

I've missed him more than words can explain.

"I went on a little vacation, but I'm back now." I told him ruffling up his hair.

"He," Max punted at Luke, "told me
that I could bring a book with me, can you pwease read it to me?" Max said with a huge grin, presenting me the book.

It was "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" by Dr. Suess, a classic.

"Yes, I will gladly read to you. Get up here on my lap."

Noah helped Max up on my lap, making sure he wasn't on my cut or even remotely close by it.

"One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish." I started.

We read the rest of the book and hung out for the rest of the night. Noah took Max back to his room to put him to sleep.

Him and Max both ate dinner with me, however, Luke was asleep the whole time. I don't know how he didn't wake up to Max's loud laughter.

After talking to Joseph for a bit and taking my pills, I closed my eyes to fall asleep.

As my eyes fluttered closed, I felt Luke kiss my forehead and I heard the door slam shut.

After that I was out.
