Chapter - 4

BILLIE'S POV

 when we opened Hank Voight's office door, before I even saw Hank seated on his seat my jaw dropped and my eyes started getting teary at the sight.Right when I was going to say something, Hank Voight said " Kiddos, let's talk outside". As he got out of his seat. Right when we were going to leave his room, she woke up. It was Natalie, she had a black eye. There were scars bruises and cuts covering her whole body and her face.

 Her lip was busted. Considering that she was wearing sweatpants and a tank top, she had a blanket covering her. She also had bags under her eyes, It had looked like she'd been crying for a while. " Oh my god Natalie" my voice broke as I went over to the sofa she was lying down on to give her a hug. Finneas was covering his mouth in shock not knowing what to do. As I won't let go of Natalie as she's not talking not crying not doing anything as if she doesn't have emotions but she won't let go of me burying her head on my shoulder as I cried. " what happened natalie?"

 I managed to get out as I stood up while she was sitting up wrapped with the blanket. " I'm sorry billie " she whispered. Now I was really confused, I guess Hank could tell because he said " Domestic and sexual abuse" with his raspy voice". Everything started to make sense they started to fit together. That piece of shit Kade. "I'm really sorry billie" I heard her whisper again covering her face with her knees.  "hey it's okay" I softly said meaning it. Hank, can I take her home? I looked over at Hank he nodded but said " Okay but first  take her  to med first, or  come on I'll take you guys leave your car here.".

Thanks Hank, I sighed wiping my eyes. Erin came over and gave me a hug that I didn't know I needed. " She's gonna be okay billie, she's a tough one" she whispered. I didn't reply I just nodded. Finneas patted my shoulder. Jay, who was standing near the door came over and lifted natalie up gently because she just passed out and carried her to Hank's car and placed her on the backseat as I went to the backseat and   Finneas went to the front. I glanced at my phone 4AM. "Hank I'm going to call my mom letting her know where we are "

I hear Finneas say. "Sure  Kiddo" Hey mom,  yeah  no no  I'm with  Hank right now. Finneas facetimed her so that she could see Hank driving  and he waved at her. " Don't worry Maggie, I got 'em they're good." Well then behave you guys! I smiled slightly hearing her mom voice. " Maggie they're good kids Maggie they won't be trouble I heard Hank's raspy voice and him chuckling. Finneas hanged up. 

FINNEAS POV

I  hanged up after we finished talking. Hank?  I heard billie whisper while we were at a red light. Yes billie? Hank asked softly. He always has a soft spot for us and natalie. How'd you find her? Billie sounded like she was on the verge of breaking down. "Well, kiddo right when we were about to shut the lights off and everyone was about to head out we saw her in this state crying and came over to my office and asked if she could stay the night. Then I made Trudy call you.

I didn't hear a response by billie so I turned around and saw her sniffing and covered her face. I know that Billie doesn't like to show herself weak not even infront of me. Hank turned  around "Billie sweetie, she's a fighter she's going to be fine."  I know but it's all my fault h-Hank, all my fault. Hank continued driving, kiddo don't be so harsh on yourself. We finally arrived to med. I carried Natalie to a bed while Will and Natalie told us to wait outside. We did what we were told.

While we were waiting outside it was silient not one of us three started talking, then out of nowhere Billie covered her face.

BILLIE'S POV

I kept thinking about when me and Natalie  argued over her and the bruises and now this happens after  she haven't contacted me. This is all my fault this whole thing. This wouldn't happened if I was there and didn't fight. " Oh my god,  Oh my god, Oh my god, " I covered my face. I could feel Finneas and Hank watching me. Finneas got a phone call and had to leave. Hank rubbed my back, "kiddo, she's going to be okay". Hank, what's the worst thing that could happen? I heard him sigh, and say I don't know billie. Let's hope for the best.  I laid my head on his shoulder while he put his arm around mine.

Hank Voight's POV

Billie seems so stressed which don't get be wrong I think is a appropriate reaction. Although it might seem like they might be more than friends. I didn't want to stress this kiddo more than she is right now but she's sleeping. poor kid.  Finneas came back . As if planned Dr Mannings and Dr Halstead come out of the room. Billie's still sleeping I gently tap her. She blinked her eyes and saw the two doctors infront of her. Billie started rambling " Dr Mannings, Dr Halstead how's Natalie? Is she okay? Is anything wrong?

 I put my hand on her shoulder, " kiddo, let the doctors talk".  Oh right sorry, the kid muttered rubbing her eyes.It's fine billie, no worries but aside from the bruises, cuts, scars that you guys already know about, there's one big news that we haven't told natalie as well. Dr Mannings informed us. Will guided us inside her room, right when we got inside billie went over to her and hugged her after they stopped, Halstead said " Okay the big news is well Natalie you're pregnant! . After Halstead said that the room was quiet, no one knew what to say. Natalie broke the ice by saying " No, no, no I- I can't be I-I'm only nineteen!!"

NATALIE WINTER'S POV

 " No, no, no I- I can't be I-I'm only nineteen!!, I can't even take care of my self h-how the hell am I going to take care of a baby? I rambled as I covered my face with my hands. Natalie, you aren't doing this alone kid, you have us" I heard Hank's raspy rough yet comforting voice.
