Young love. Our parents tell us that we are "too young to know what love is" or that we "shouldn't focus on a relationship because it isn't important at this age." But maybe that's just because they know how it feels to be young and in love. They remember their first kiss and how their heart would skip a beat every time they saw that person. They remember the pain of the breakup and how it felt to watch them move on. Love is bittersweet and when you're young, it's amplified. The highs, man are they perfect. It seems like it will last forever. The lows, they crush you. It seems like it will last forever.
Now, most stories start out with an introduction to two polar opposites and slowly, you see the relationship strengthen and build. My story however, goes a little differently. We fell hard in love very quickly. Maybe that's why our story is so complicated or maybe we were just too young.
