- Forty days later... -
Rebel marines stormed a supply depot that had been hoarding supplies enough for a small army to mount up a short-term invasion of Demacia. This is just one of many other depots, but it is the closest to the front and is easier to access. The rebels chose this for that sole reason, not to mention it is large enough for a small village to rely on it alone for years. Should this move succeed, it would cut down much of the supplies heading for the Imperial forces at the front and delay the invasion of Ionia for at least a few more months. What will be more satisfying to (Anondric) is that it will hurt Admiral Duqal's reputation.
Rebel Marine: "Sir, we gathered as much as we could from the depot. There's still a few months worth of supplies left. What are we going to do about those?" A rebel marine says to the rebel commander who just executed a Noxian soldier pleading for his life.
(Anondric): "Burn the rest, along with the loyalists. Only the defectors and the gathered supplies will come with us." The rebel commander replies.
Rebel Marine: "Yes, sir."
Upon hearing the order from the rebel commander, the Noxian soldiers on their knees desperately tried to convince the rebel commander from doing the horrible thing of burning them to death. Years of treatment to him by those on the upper classes of Noxus hardened (Anondric) into a ruthless warrior and leader, yet there is a spot that remained soft for those who shared the same life as he did, or at least similar.
A difficult choice comes by. On one hand, these are Noxian soldiers who pledged the entire life for military service of the empire, unbroken and will not betray Noxus. On the other hand, the fact that they are willing to throw away their loyalties just to survive is a sign of defiance of those who tried to break their soldiers into mindless drones dependent on their commands. But (Anondric) is quick to decide.
(Anondric): "Lieutenant!" He calls out.
Rebel Officer: "Sir!"
(Anondric): "See which of them are willing to join our cause and bring them to us. Then burn the rest."
Rebel Officer: "As you wish, sir."
The commander leaves the slowly burning supply depot as the rebels execute those who still fought back. This evening will be the finest hour of the rebellion, and it will be something that will be imprinted to the minds of those who still have their minds straight, that freedom is still possible.
- Later that evening...-
Rebel Lieutenant Qoz: "The Noxian authorities in the stronghold already are on our tails. It will not be long before the entire Imperial forces washes down on us."
((A/n: Qoz is pronounced as 'chōz')Rebel Lieutenant Kijïr: "We have come this far already, Lieutenant Qoz. Tonight, we fight."
(Anondric): "That is right. Enough stealing supplies and planning. It is now or never, gentlemen."
Rebel Lieutenant Kijïr: "But what if we lose the rebellion, Captain? What will happen to us?"
(Anondric): "Then we will go out on our own terms. We will die fighting, or we will be slaves. You choose, Lieutenants."
"We are not supposed to survive, my friends. We are supposed to be the symbol of defiance against those who think they can have everything they want in a blink of an eye. We will pluck those eyes out and replace them with ones that show the truth."
