Chapter 30

After I had left Luna's room and went to mine, I started to feel depressed about what had happened. The fact that my dad had hurt someone that I now care about really got to me. It also made me realize that if I ever went out with Luna that my dad would not approve of it, and that also meant doing it in secret. Thinking all about this made me cry, because now that I knew that I wouldn't do evil things anymore meant that my dad and siblings would be meaner to me. Also I wouldn't be able to be around Luna much because it would be suspicious. But then I stopped crying because I got an idea about what I was going to do with my situation. Then I decided to listen in on Luna through the wall and see what was going on in her room. "Hello Luna! How is your shoulder- Whoa what happened here!?" A muffled manly voice said, as rushed footsteps come into the room. 

        "Oh my gosh Luna! What happened?" Luna's mother screamed.

"Oh uh well I fell and broke my arm." replied a muffled Luna.

        "You fell and broke your arm? Luna how did you manage to do that?" Said another manly voice.

"Well... It's a long story..." Luna said back.

        "Really? We don't mind listening to this long tale." Said another different manly voice, so far listening to this conversation, made me worry about couple things. Like the fact that Luna might tell who ever it was that was in her room about what happened to her arm. That was one thing that was on my mind, because the guys that were in her room made me nervous. Particularly because they seemed in a way like they could be her body guards. Then I started to wonder, could the guys in her room be her older brothers? I mean she did mention a long time ago that she's the only girl with a bunch of older brothers in her family. That's when I came to the conclusion that they were, but that still meant that they could act protective over their little sister. The other thing I wondered about was possibly how many brothers does Luna have? So far I think there are three but I could be wrong. After thinking about that, I listened a little more to the conversation next door to me. That's when I heard what sounded like Luna's father. He mentioned to her to get on with the reason with why she ended up broken. This probably meant that she was thinking about something or that she took a while to speak. Any ways, Luna told her dad ok and I think she was about to say something, but then got interrupted. "Hello I just came into check up on Luna. I see that you've noticed Luna's broken arm." Kiku said. Hmm hopefully Kiku won't tell them what happened, I thought to myself. "Yes, we have." Luna's dad growled and then said, "Could you possibly tell us how that happened? Because my daughter won't tell us."

        "Oh?" Kiku said and then went on to say, "Well she probably doesn't want to tell you because she was somewhere she shouldn't have been." Great! There go the chances of what happened being kept a secret. As I thought this, I heard Luna's father make a big fuss about what Kiku told him, and then asked Luna if it was true. Then I heard a peep from Luna, telling her dad that it was true. Then the conversation went downhill from there, because Kiku then said, "Yeah you see she ignored what I said about visiting another patient and that's how she broke her arm." This made her dad say, “What do you mean visiting another patient?"

        Once he said that, I knew things wouldn't be good . So Kiku explained about why I was at the hospital, and then told Luna's family that it was his fault for telling Luna about my stay at the hospital, and that it was one of the reasons why her arm ended up broken. Once he said that, Luna's father made a remark about  the possibility of his daughter's broken arm. Then Kiku replied with a sort of, but was caught off by Luna's dad who yelled, "Sort of? What do you mean sort of?" That's when Kiku told him why he had to tell Luna why I was here. Then Luna's dad made a remark, and then Kiku told her dad how many times Luna went into my room.
