CHAPTER 23: Stranger

(Flashback)

JISOO's POV

I can't believe that someone died because of me. And of all people, it was Tae's Mom, why?

I ran as fast as I could, I don't know where I am now. The sky is already dark and the streets are so busy. I keep on walking and I don't care where my feet will take me.

Everything that happened 9 years ago keeps flashing back right in front me. Everything  that Tae told me keeps whispering in my ears. Everything is so painful and the tears in my eyes keep on flowing.

As I walk, I didn't notice that I am already in the middle of road until I heard a "*beeeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeeep"

When I looked into my left, I was so shocked because a car is approaching me. I cannot move my body, my hands are trembling in fear. While the car is on his way towards me, I want it to hit me and kill me. The thing that Tae's Mom did not do to me.

Then, my memory brought me back to that night. Now, it can clearly see the scared face of Tae's Mom while driving towards me and Tae's little voice crying inside that car. "*Just kill me please. Kill me instead, don't change your direction. Please*" Then suddenly everything turns into black.

DRIVER's POV

Oh sh*t, get out of the way Miss. You want to die? "*beeeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeeep"

What is she doing? Why are you not moving away? She's getting near and neareeeeeeeer! "*car's break sounded."

I closed my eyes while stepping the break and opened it when my car finally stopped. Where is she? Did I hit her?

I came out from my car to check and I saw her lying helplessly on the road with more than a meter away from my car. I immediately went to her and when I saw her face ... Jis-soo? Kim Jisoo?

I saw people coming towards us, I immediately carried her before they could recognized her. I hide her face from them and I told them that I will bring her to the hospital where I currently work as an intern. Ofcourse I cannot bring her to a public place, their hospital is 20 kilometers away while my place is just 1km away. So, I decided to bring her to my place, since I have also an IV and few medicines there that can help.

She had a small wound in her knee, elbow and forehead. I treated them with an ointment to avoid scars.

She haven't gain conciousness since I brought her here, around 10:00 last night. It's already 3:00PM and as far as I know they had a concert tonight by 8PM. I checked her phone to contact her group members but it was broken, I accidently stepped on it when I rushed towards her. I am sorry. I'll buy a new one for you when you pay me for taking care of you.

After an hour she's already awake. She's so weak to get up, but she had a concert to attend to. So, when she requested me to bring her to Seoul Music Arena, I said yes to make sure she's okay.

"Get in." he said while opening the front seat door.

"Can I sit on the back?" I asked. "I mean, I-I must be found sitting on the back t-to avoid c-confusions" I continued.
