Kendall was beside her mom's bed when she died. Her mom had been battling cancer for a year now. She died two days ago. Kendall was getting ready for the funeral wondering if her dad would show up.
Her parents divorced when she was two and she had always lived with her mom in America. She hasn't seen her dad in that time. Now fifteen, she remembers nothing about him.
Her only relative, in America, was her grandmother, who had dementia, who was close to death too. She knew that she would have to go to England to live with her dad whether she liked it or not.
Her black dress went just below her knees and her blonde hair was in a bun.
She hated funerals but knew she had to go.
As her car pulled up outside the funeral home, she saw the pastor waiting for her outside the white building,
He opened her door and led her inside the building. "I'm sorry for your loss, Kendall. If there is any thing I can help you with let me know." Said the pastor. "Thank you but I don't think you can help me with any thing right now." Kendall replied.
After ten minutes of silence, friends of her mom and herself started coming in. After a lot of "I'm so sorry for your loss"s and "I can't imagine how you feel"s the funeral started.
The funeral went as planned and they were getting up to go to the cemetery.
Kendall was feeling worse than she had in the beginning. Her dad never showed. "Maybe he'll come to the burial.." Kendall thought to her self as she walked outside. It was raining. "Why does it always rain when there is a funeral?" She muttered to herself.
She got out her umbrella and walked with the rest of the people to the cemetery. She scanned the crowd looking for a man who might resemble her. She didn't see him. "Maybe he's just late." She thought to herself.
As the burial went on she was continuously scanning the crowd. She never saw him.
Her friend Maddie's mom had said she could stay with them till she had to leave for England.
The drive to their house was quiet and the rest of the evening was quite.
She fell asleep with tears in her eyes beside Maddie. The tears were for her mom, her dad, and for Maddie.
The last thought she had before she fell asleep was "Tomorrow I leave for Doncaster, England... Where ever the hell that is."

Hey so this is my first fanfiction so I hope you like it! I do ship Larry but I didn't want that to be my first fanfic because it would be terrible lol. Who knows if in the future I will do a Larry one but I just want to say that I do indeed ship Larry. Sorry that this was kinda short! This is just to get the ball rolling and so you know why Kendall is depressed and isn't British and blah blah blah.
I'm probably saying this to a brick wall but... Thanks for reading! And please vote!
