50 years ago, on July 16, 1969, the Saturn V rocket launched into space towards the moon. It was the Apollo 11 mission and super duper cool and I kinda wish I was born back then so I could see it launch. But, alas, my mom was a baby back then and my dad was five.
The rocket is being projected onto the Washington Monument in Washington DC.
