Long Time No See

Chapter 1

Sonic had finally made it to his new college. He stared out the window of his blue mustang as he parked outside the dorms.

'Today starts my new life. Alone. I'm kind of nervous if I'm being honest with myself. I mean, all of my friends are moving on with their own lives. Tails is at the best engineering school on the planet, Knuckles is training at the Mobius Martial arts academy, Amy his baking to her hearts content at culinary school, even Rouge is on an expedition to discover new gems. It's time for me to get my butt in gear!' Sonic thought as he got out of his car.

Sonic took a look at his dorm and classes paperwork and a smile reached across his face. Sonic also looked at his red t-shirt and blue jeans. Sonic opened his backseat door and pulled out a backpack and a large suitcase. He threw the backpack on his back and pulled along the suitcase behind him. "Looks like I'm at the right dorm." He spoke. With his items in hand, he made his way to his dorm room.

'I'm glad that I got accepted into this school, but staring here without knowing anybody that goes here is gonna be tough. I could always just call Tails to come hang out but it would be the same. Im just grateful his school is only a 3 hour drive away. Not like Knuckles and Rouge who are miles and miles away. And there is also breaks during the year I could go home and just call everyone in advance.' Sonic thought as he entered the building.

He looked around to see a very home looking lobby. "Cool." Sonic commented.

"Hello there, need help?"

Sonic turned his head and saw a white hedgehog with amber eyes wearing a neon blue shirt and black jeans.

"Ugh, this is Boys dorm C right?" Sonic asked.

"Yup, I'm Silver by the way. Your a newbie to this campus huh?"

"Yeah, I just got accepted a few months ago and here I am. Do you know how to get to... *looks at dorm paperwork*...Floor 5 room 34?"

Silver nodded. "I'll show ya where it is. I'll even give you a tour of the place." He offered.

Sonic grinned at him. "That'd be great, thanks. I'm Sonic by the way."

"Nice to meet you." Silver greeted and took Sonic's suitcase for him.

Silver showed Sonic the different places in the dorms. There was a public kitchen, a big laundry room, and even a pool outside! Sonic was very excited to start here. Sonic and Silver stepped inside the elevator and Silver pressed the button labeled 5.

"So you gave me a tour and know a lot about this place. Does that mean you've attended here before?" Sonic asked.

"I have, this will be my 3rd year here. I'm working towards a Master's degree in Physics. What about you?"

"Honestly I'm sure. I'm just getting basics out of the way to see what my options are." Sonic revealed.

"Well that okay to not know what you want to major in. Just take your time." Silver comforted.

"Thanks Silver."

'Maybe it won't be so bad here after all.' Sonic thought.

Silver and Sonic finally made it to the 5th floor. Silver handed over Sonic's suitcase to him.

"This is the 5th floor. Your room is the last door on your right. Call me if you have more questions." Silver said and handed him a piece of paper. "My number's on it." He added.

"I will, thanks for everything." Sonic said and waved bye.

Silver did the same and left.

Sonic grabbed his suitcase and made his way to his room. 'In a way, starting a new life where no one knows you could be a good thing. For example, only Tails knows I'm gay. So I'm gonna the way I've always wanted to and be proud of my sexuality instead of hiding in the dark. And at least there won't be any drama with anyone yet. Maybe I'll even find a boyfriend while I'm here. The only only I've ever had a crush on was Shadow and no one has heard from him since freshman year of high school. Even Rouge has tried to reach him and to no avail! I do regret never telling him my feelings but I need to move on!' Sonic thought.

Sonic finally found his room. He put his hand on the knob. 'My new life starts now!' He thought.

He opened the door.

He witnessed one of the beds had two hedgehogs making out. One with Black and red hedgehog and the other had green quills.
