Chapter 1: Her

*Naruto's POV*
I've always been alone... Ever since I was little, it got worse throughout my life as I grew up.
I never really knew why people stayed away from me, I've always thought I was just a normal kid...But I was wrong. I found out my parents died and the man I thought I "trusted" lied to me for years. I wasn't aware until around the middle of 7th grade, that's when it hit me. I started asking questions like,
"Why don't I have a mom?"
and
"Why do I feel so distant from everyone and everything?"
or
"Why is it that when I'm alone I feel like I'm missing something?"
Until I met her.. And she changed my life in an unexpected way.

It was a school day, at the beginning of our break half-way threw the day. I'm always far away from the other students either sitting on a tree swing or behind it. But this felt different I felt like I was being watched. (Which obviously doesn't happen often) I slowly peeked my head around the tree to see a girl staring directly at me.

"AHHHHHHHHH" I screamed while backing up into the fence. Shocked by how close a GIRL was to MY face. Just thinking about it was weird... She looked at me with a confused but curious face and said,

"Haven't you ever seen a girl before?" She chuckled while smiling at me. Forgetting to talk I blankly stared at her wondering why she'd actually want to talk to someone like me. But surprisingly she got closer to me and waved her hand in front of my face, "Helloooo is anyone in there?" she quietly said.

"Oh umm- yes" I laughed, awkwardly and shook my head a little. "Sorry, it's just-" I placed my hand on the back of my head, and looked down at the ground. "It's just nobody's ever talked to me before so it was shocking when you surprised me like that" I let out a quiet laugh... She looked up at me wide-eyed and smiled again.

"I'm Sakura Haruno, its nice to meet you" She held her hand out to me.

"Oh, I'm Naruto Uzumaki!" They shook hands and sat under the tree until the bell rung, calling them to part ways.

They said their goodbyes and hoped to meet under that very tree where everything started...

*A few weeks Later*

We ended up talking every single day after that and eventually, it felt like I was slowly starting to become a different person. Like we knew each other since we were little. It's kind of funny, how fast you can change just by having someone that cares for you. Or so I thought...

*Same day*

"Hey, Sakura!" Naruto smiles widely at her while waving, as she walked up to the tree next to him.

"Hey!! How was your weekend?!" Sakura asks Energetically while leaning up against the tree facing Naruto, smiling back.

"Well, my dad kept asking me if you were my girlfriend so" Naruto laughs awkwardly. "Isn't that funny"... he continued.

Ignoring what he just said Sakura grabbed him by the hand and says "Oh my gosh, we should go to the ramen shop together!"

"Wait-" Sakura cuts him off before he can finish.

"Just come on it'll be fun!" She says in a cheerful tone. As she runs off towards the sidewalk.

Naruto runs off behind her grabbing her wrist tightly, making her spin around and lock eyes with him. They stay silent for a moment. "I said wait," Naruto says softly, gently placing his hand on her cheek. Next thing you know Naruto is leaning down, locking lips with her for a few seconds. He pulls back and looks at her. "Would you please be my girlfriend?" He says seriously, still looking at her blank expression.
...Sakura tilts her head up slowly and smiles widely as she excitedly says

"Sure".

Naruto's blank face soon turned into a large smile as he pulled her into a hug and nuzzled his nose into her hair. "I'm so happy right now let's just stay like this for a while," He said comfortably. As they stood there in the middle of the sidewalk, embracing one another.

I'm sorry if I'm bad at this I've never tried to write a fan-fiction before. It's always sounded like something fun. so when me and my best friend (basically the co-editor of this fan-fiction) mentioned it. it sounded like a great idea so now we're both working on fan-fictions to post. All I can do right now is pray that this will get huge and people will read my writing! So I hope you liked chapter one. it only gets better from here! (also if there are any spelling errors or sentences that sound bad or don't even make sense i'm sorry like i said i'm new at this and also i kind of got excited to write more so i rushed a little bit hehe sorry).
