Seventeenth Rose

It's my senior year in St. Therese's Academy and I was proclaimed as the newly-elected president of the Student Council.

I was definitely a school icon.

I became a young ambassador of Go Green, a non-government organization that care for the environment particularly eliminating the use of plastic. I was also one of the representatives in school forums and debates.

Nagsimula ang career ko sa fashion when I was invited to do an online commercial for a local brand of clothing line. May isang agent na lumapit sa akin sa isa sa mga school forums and offered me the job. Of course tinanggap ko kahit medyo ayaw ni Daddy.

But since I'm an only child and I was spoiled by my Dad, he agreed.

At the age of seventeen, I had my first ever vlog. I had a makeup review of my aunt's very own makeup line.

Umabot sa half a million ang views nun. Then I started reviewing other make up brands and local skincare lines.

In just a couple of months, my vlogs reached a million views.

I was enjoying every bit of it.

At school, I always keep a straight face. I looked serious but still approachable. Ate ako ng mga mas nakakabatang grades and they idolized me. They're very vocal in telling me that they love my vlogs and they're my top fans.

And of course my ever supportive bestfriend acted as my assistant.

Even when I was just a child, I dream of a grand birthday party. All my girl cousins had a grand birthday celebratio when they turned eighteen.

My mother already booked her commendable set of makeup artists. The invitations were already ditributed to the guests.

And the guests all came from the upper class of society.

And currently, my father was the Vice President and one of the pioneers of the organization. The President was none other than Augustus Cabrera, River's father.

The Cabreras own the majority of shopping malls in the country. Their multinational corporation was also in the list of Forbes' Top 50 corporations in the entire world. Talking about wealth.

Their company has a network of branches in other countries and they extend their assets to marketing and advertising.

He was a familiar sight to every party. Loner at kilos matanda na.
