Chapter forty two

Alex's pov

"Welcome to the Hollywood sign!" Shawn said as we stepped out the car.

"Shawn.. are we even allowed to be here?" I asked and he shrugs.

"After you." He said pointing to the ladder.

"Listen Mendes, I haven't been arrested since I was thirteen. If I break that streak tonight-"

"You wont!" He laughed and I rolled my eyes and climbed the ladder. I heard him whistle "Wow. I missed this view."

"Fuck off Mendes!" I said climbing it and got to the top. I looked out and saw the amazing view of the city at night. I heard Shawn coming up and I helped him up.

"Wow. It's beautiful." I said and he nodded

"This is where Izzy took me." He said

"Whoa. Who's Izzy?" I said and he rolled his eyes.

"My first friend I made here. I met her at Starbucks, she was a barista there. She's from Canada too. She went back don't worry." He said and I rolled my eyes this time.

"Is She the one you.." I said

"Yeah.." He said and I nod and get up "it didn't mean anything." He said

"I know. I know."

"It's not like you also didn't."

"I know. Shawn I haven't been honest with you." I said sitting back down.

"What? Oh god, please don't tell me your pregnant." He said

"I slept with Brie's brother and then I had a pregnancy scare. But I'm not pregnant!" I said and he looked at me confused

"You didn't use protection?" He asked

"I did. But my period didn't come. I thought it was because I was pregnant. I got checked out and it wasn't that. I'm good though." I said and he nods.

"There's more.. I thought I was also pregnant by you. Because remember how we had sex before you left?" I asked and he nodded

"And yeah.. I thought I was pregnant with you or with Brie's brother." I said

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked and I shrugged.

"I thought I'd find out if I was before I told you if I was."

"Did brie know?" he asked

"Her and the guys." I said and he laughed

"What'd they say?"

"They said if I was, they'd help take care of the baby if I decided to keep it." I said and he nods.

"That's nice of them."

"What if I was pregnant? What if I told you?" I asked

"If it was mine?" He asks and I nod

"I would've respected what ever decision you decide to take. If you wanted to abort, I'm fine with it. If you wanted to give it up to adoption, I'm fine with that. If you wanted to keep it and raise it. I'd be fine with it." He said and I nod.

"Would you have come back?" I asked and he nods

"Definitely. I would want to be there to support you through everything." He said and I smiled

"Good because this was all a lie. I'm pregnant." I said

"Wha-what?" He said freaking out

"Relax." I laughed and pushed his shoulder softly.
