Zoe's POV
"Luke what are you doing?" I asked my boyfriend Luke Hemming's who was sitting on his bed staring intensly at his phone. He laughed and walked across his bedroom to where I was standing. He snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me close.
"Nothing I'm just texting Calum. He said that him Ash and Mikey are coming over to rehearse a couple songs. You don't have to stay if you don't want to." He said sadly. I placed my fingers under Luke's chin and smiled at him.
"Of course I'm gonna stay babe. I wouldn't miss one of your guy's rehearsals. You know that." He nodded his head and smiled at me. We heard a door open and close downstairs and assumed that it was Luke's mom.
"Come on lets go downstairs." Luke said grabbing my hand. But I didn't move.
"Babe what's wrong?" he asked even though he already knew. I placed my hands on my hips and looked Luke in the eyes with a serious face.
"You know your mom doesn't like me Luke." I said sitting down on Luke's bed. He walked over to me and sat down next to me.
"Come on, just come with me. If she says anything then we can go to your house." He said intertwining are fingers.
"No we can't Luke. The guys are coming over to your house to practice, remember?" he sighed and stood up.
"Fine we won't go to your house. But just come with me, it doesn't matter what my mom thinks about you. All that matters is that I love you and you love me. Please come with me!" I sighed and stood up. I walked to Luke's door. He opened it and we walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Luke honey is that you?" Ms. Hemming's said turning around. She smiled when she saw Luke but when she saw me standing next to him she glared. "Luke I told you to STOP bringing her into my house!" Luke's mom yelled. I just stood there not knowing what to say or do.
"Umm... I'm sorry Ms. Hemming's. I'll just head home..." I said walking to Luke's front door. But before I got there he grabbed my arm and pulled me back towards him.
"No. you're staying. Listen mom I really care about Zoe and if you really want me to be happy then you would support the fact that we love each other." Luke said to his mom. Uh oh things just got awkward. She glared at me and went back to putting away groceries. I ran up the stairs as fast as I could and into Luke's room. I locked the door and hopped on Luke's bed. I could hear him and his mom yelling at each other. I just laid there with my face in a pillow.
I was laying there for a bit before I heard on knock on the window. I looked up and saw three familiar faces. I walked over to the window and opened it and in climbed Calum, Ash, and Mikey.
"Hey guys" I said sitting back down on Luke's bed. They all said hey and gave me a hug.
"What's wrong Zoe?" Calum asked me noticing that I was upset. I took a deep breath and started to explain.
"It's Luke's mum. I don't understand why she doesn't like me. I've never done anything to her. I'm technically not supposed to be here but Luke wouldn't let me leave so I just ran up here and locked the door." They all nodded their heads and hugged me again. We were all just awkwardly sitting there for a minute before we heard the door knob being viciously shaken.
"OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW ZAMORA!!!!!!!!" I heard Luke's mum yell. I looked at the guys with worried looks and then they started panicking to. I quickly slipped on my jacket and shoes. I waved bye to the guys and started climbing out the window. I felt hands around my waist. I turned around and saw Ashton.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!?!?!?" he whispered yelled.
"I'm getting the hell out of here!" I said and wiggled out of his grasp. I crawled down the roof and when I got to the edge I jumped. I landed on my feet, I stumbled a bit but I didn't fall. I ran to Luke's front door and grabbed my penny board. His mum won't let anyone bring outside things like scooters, bikes, roller skates, skateboards, etc. into the house. Stupid right? I hopped on my penny board and rode home.
