The girl was strumming her electric guitar perfectly, it was like she was born with music in her blood. Her hair bouncing as she moved her shoulders up and down to balance the guitar.
Manik was mesmerised, and that too, without even seeing her face.
Team Space was intrigued, as they saw the entire college look at the performer with shining eyes full of awe, and impatience.
The girl started singing, leaving everyone, but one certain boy entranced.
"Ishq fikar da chadde palla
Maujein karta ho ke jhalla, jee ve"
As soon as he heard that voice, Manik only had one name on his mind, Nandini.
The girl finally turned around, continuing her song, not noticing the 5 shocked faces in the audience, and one very overwhelmed Manik Malhotra.
"Ishq mein dilda hoya fakeeri
Maange sab ki khair sukhalla, jee ve"
Manik couldn't breathe. He just stared at her face, as she was busy passionately singing. He was soaking in her presence, her voice, her actions. It was as if he was afraid that he'd blink, and Nandini would be gone, again.
"Gira deewarein, laga lalkaarein
Ishq di masti de vich sauvey te jaage"
To say that Team Space was shocked was an understatement. There she was, the meek, sweet Nandini Murthy from Mangalore in front of them, now transformed into a complete rockstar. The aggression in her voice, her passionate kohl-rimmed eyes, her glossy lips murmuring the lyrics, she was utter perfection.
They all turned towards Manik, especially Cabir, not knowing how he would react.
They saw him standing besides them, frozen, eyes glistening, and a calm but scared smile on his face.

Nandini sang the chorus out loud, dancing along, as the crowd went crazy. She was a powerful stage presence, anyone could tell.
Maddy couldn't stop smiling giddily, eyes twinkling. Alya and Mukti looked at him, eyes widened, realizing Nandini was Isha.
