Chapter 3°

I squirmed my eyes in the dark, trying to find something...maybe light.

There was nothing...just dark thick darkness all around. Using my hands, I felt my surroundings. There was nothing.

"Help!" I yelled, but I got nothing but my echo coming back to me... reverberating loudly before fading off into the darkness.

I coughed, straining my eyes and using my eyes to try to find my way. My feet moved delving deeper into the darkness.

Suddenly, a string of light appeared from a distance and started circling around me. The light was so sudden that I had to blink a little to adjust to it. Like an Aurora...they began revolving around me like planets...and I was the sun.

"Red...white...pink...black and grey" I examined the colors, staring at them.

Suddenly I felt a hand pull me out.

"Grey! Gresila!" A hand tugged against my clothes shaking me vigorously.

I moved around, adjusting my position on the bed... I think.

"Hey wake up!" The hand suddenly smacked me.

Ouch!

Immediately, I sat up wincing under the effect of the smack.

"Grey!" She wined tugging at my cheek.

Bright rays of light met my eyes causing me to squint and shut my eyes for a few seconds before adjusting to it.

"Edna?"

She smiled.

Her hair was in an elegant updo. And by elegant...I mean..it was so perfectly styled that not a single red strand was left untamed in that ponytail. She also had makeup on. Red hair, red lips, red dress...my eyes drifted to her shoes...and white canvas.

More like it.

But what was going on?

"C'mon Madam Gilmore wants to see us now"

I furrowed my brows "Madam Gilmore?"

"Yeah" she pouted and suddenly bent down to my level, bringing her mouth to my ear "it probably has to do with yesterday's bidding...you know Ciara lost so bad"

"Oh! The bidding!" Quickly I got up, all disordered. I must have forgotten about that.

Oh God! Don't make me lo--- wait! Bidding last night? Ciara lost?!

I glanced over to Edna who was giving me a terrible face.

"Okay... first don't look at me like that" I pointed out, pointing to her to.

"Why won't I? With you behaving like that..." She sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Second...did you just say Ciara lost to me? I mean...the bidding is done?"

She shook her head at first, face palming...then gave me a straight face "what are you saying Grey! Last night was a big one for you and here you are behaving like you don't remember?"

Okay I am lost. Did I drink? Or I have a temporary memory loss?

"I-i-i--"

"--I shouldn't have let you drink with Garry last night. Tell me how much did you guys drink?" Her eyebrows wiggled suggestively, the corner of her mouth twitching up into a dirty smack.

"Hey! Get your mind out of the gutter! I really don't remember last night happening"

She sighed, walking over to me "Last night... Few people bid you... obviously Aria had the most bidders at first followed by that Dilgoff...ahhhh my friend! You had no hope" she shrugged " but suddenly! Garry appeared like a shining knight...and with his hand pointing out to you like this...he bid you!" She gasped dramatically.
