Exchange.

The Plane ride

I struggle bringing my suitcase down the stairs but finally manage to get it down the massive staircase in the massive house my parents decided to buy. I'm an only child so I don't know why we needed such a massive house, but if it makes my parents happy, I guess it makes me happy.

Haylee helps grab my bags and takes them to my moms car. It takes my mom about 30 minuets to get ready to take me to the airport, she always does this. She can't get out of the house without looking presentable. I will go out of the house in a messy bun with no makeup on and sweatpants and a sweatshirt and not care what anyone thought about me.

My mom finally decides to come outside.

"Alright Erin and Haylee, let's head to the airport."

The ride to the Austin airport seems to take forever, but it's really only 20 minuets away from my house. We unload my luggage and walk into the chilly airport.

We walk through the detectors that make sure you don't have weapons and shit like that. My mom goes and put my luggage away, while Haylee and I wait for my plane to be called, which should be in about 10 minutes.

"I guess this is it." Haylee sighs.

"Hey, it's not like we are never going to talk to each other or see each other ever again. Don't worry. You are my Bestfriend and I would never forget about you. Not matter what happens in London, you will always be my Bestfriend. And you better remember that." I promise Haylee.

"I know. I guess I am just freaking out to much. I just need to calm down."

"Haylee look at me," I tell Haylee.

"You are my Bestfriend and I love you."

With those words I hear over the intercom, "flight 567 to London is now boarding."

My mom finds Haylee and I and gives me the longest hug ever, that I am nervous she wouldn't let go in time.

"Flight 567 to London, now boarding." I hear once more.

"I guess this is goodbye, for now." My mom tells me.

And with that, I give both of them one more hug, grab my carry on bag, and walk towards the plane entrance. I glance back once more, seeing Haylee and my mom give me a big smile and mouth the words, "we love you!" Then the doors close.

The plane that I aboard is very big. There is a TON of people, many men in business suits, probably going on a business trip. I find my seat and sit down, seeing that no one was in the other one. Until a very handsome man comes over and says,

"Hey, sorry, I am sitting on the other seat," he says, pointing to the seat where my carry on bag is put.

"Oh I am so sorry, I thought no one was sitting here."

"It's all good, my name is Niall." He says, pushing out his arm for me to shake. He looks about my age, maybe a year older.

"Erin," I tell him.

"Pretty name, pretty face." He says.

I feel the blush appear on my cheeks.

"Thank you." I tell Niall, trying not to blush.

"So your heading to London, why are you going?" Niall asks, keeping fill eye contact.

"Well, The University Of London told me they wanted me to be an exchange student, I didn't really want to, but my mom did, and she said it would be best for me. So I'm giving it a shot."

"Really? That's where I am going! I attended there, I was just visiting family in San Antonio." He says, making me want to as even more questions.

"Good. I was scared I wouldn't meet anyone there and I would be all alone. But since your basically my only friend as of now, we should get to know each other a bit, we have a long plane ride."

"That's a great idea," he says.

He is completely Gorgeous. Blonde hair, blue eyes, tall, muscular, he was just a perfect human being. I didn't like him since I just met him, but he is so sweet and I can tell, this move might not be to bad at all with him there along the way.

We play the question game for about 2 hours, I learned so many things, like when one time he hid a spider in his bothers covers and his brother had gotten bit by it and was taken to the hospital, but he was alright. He also told me that it took him 14 tries to get his drivers license, and the day after he got them, he got a speeding ticket.

After talking to him for a while, I slowly drifted asleep, hoping to wake up when we were landing in London.
