*first day of the new term*
"Agh, why does it have to be school so soon" I told my friend Sarah who I was face timing.
"You are so dramatic Kimberley Cupido !!" said Sarah
I hated it when she called me on my full name, but she calls me that whenever she is either irritated or angry at me.
"You knows what, I'll see you at school you weirdo" I said trying to get done with packing my school books.
"Wait for me in front of the school gates ok? Plus I heard that there's a new boy coming too our class !! I'm sooooo excited."
"Ok, BYE !! Just don't end up liking him" I said with a smirk on my face
"Ok I won't promise anything." Sarah said as she hung up the phone.
At that moment my mother knocked on my door " Honey are you done getting dressed I wanna drive now"
I REALLY didn't want to go to school so I insisted that I would walk to school. My mother left about 5 minutes ago.
I just listened to some music as I slowly drifted off.
*30 minutes later*
"Oh shizz, I'm sooo frikkin late for school and Sarah is gonna kill me!!"
I immediately got up and grabbed my bag hopping that the class didn't start.

I ran as fast as my legs could go to get to class, but I accidentally took a wrong turn and I bumped into a boy my age with a lady next too him. He looked a little shy and he gave a
awkward smiile.
"Um excuse me, but can you please show us the way to classroom 12 B please?" The lady asked me looking confused.
"Oh, well I'm in that class and I'm kind of late" I said quickly try to still get my breathe.
"Oh well, could you please take my son with you becoz we've been looking for this class For hours" She asked with a smile on her face.
"Of course I will." I said trying to sound excited.
She looked at the boy "And please behave today, okay."
"Okay, okay don't worry I'll be fine" he said. He tried too not seem as if he was a baby that needed to be reminded to behave in public.
He tried to leave the situation as fast as possible and he just grabbed my hand and pulled me away
"BYE I love and enjoying school" she shouted loudly that almost half the school could heard her.
the boy just rolled his eyes of embarrassment.
"So, what's your name, my name's Jason?"
I was so distracted by his black curly hair and his freckles that he had on his face. His smile was the most cutest smile that I had ever seen.
"Oh sorry, what did u say?" I finally came back to reality when he snapped his fingers in my face.
"I asked what your name is? And mine name's Jason. Don't forget it okay?" He said with a serious look on his face
It looked sooo cute that i had to give a little smile "My name's Kimberley, but everybody calls me Kim, it's nice to meet you Jason and I won't forget that wonderful name" I said with a smile on my face.
"Thanks soo much Kim and btw u have a cute smile." He said while still holding my hand.
"Your mother is so kind and friendly." I said trying to make conversation. I looked cool and calm on the outside but I was freaking out on the inside. I wonder what Sarah will say about this.
Jason looked down. "That's not my real mother. It's just my step mother. My real mother doesn't care about me."
"U can't just say that, you maybe just got the wrong information?"
He gave a little laugh, "If she cared she wouldn't have left in the middle of the night and packed her bags." He said sadly.
I looked down feeling embarrassed asking that question, I hated talking serious things becoz I don't know how to react properly. So I said nothing.
"Aren't u gonna say something?" He asked confusingly.
"Well... the thiing is that my brain can't function fast enough to show a genuine emotion so I rather keep quiet than say something I might regret later, but only sometimes tho." I said shyly.
"It's fine mahn none of us are perfect."
He said showing his perfect teeth.
"We are anyways close to class." I said trying too not make eye contact.
