Long Time No See

Chapter 2

A hard blush appeared on Sonic's face.

The green hedgehog was towering over the black and red hedgehog. The green hedgehog had no shirt on, just black pants. The black hedgehog wore only a leather jacket and with blanket over him, he couldn't tell what he was wearing underneath.

"Ever heard of knocking!" The green hedgehog yelled as he turned around.

Sonic recognized the hedgehog faces. "Scourge?" He questioned.

The expression of Scourge changed. "Hey Blue! What are you doing here?" He asked with smile on his face.

The blush was still very visible on Sonic's face. "T-This is my room." He said. And glanced at the black hedgehog. "H-Hey Shadow, long time no see."

Shadow's muzzle was bright red in embarrassment. He looked away from Sonic.

Scourge got off of Shadow and picked up a white shirt that was on the ground. He put it on and sat back down on the bed. "Isn't that a coincidence. You sharing a room with Stripes." Scourge laughed.

'Stripes?' Sonic thought as he took another glance at Shadow.

"Scourge, you know I don't like being called that." Shadow protested.

"Sorry Babe, But I like it when you're embarrassed. You're way more cute that way~" Scourge raised his hand to Shadow's ear and rubbed it. This caused Shadow to blushed deeper but smile under his gentle touch. "Since Blue ruined our fun, I'll take my leave for now." He said and grabbed Shadow's chin instead. He planted a kiss on his cheek.

'This is so weird! First Scourge is here, than Shadow's submissive to him, and worst of all THEY WERE MAKING OUT!' Sonic thought.

Scourge stood up once again and walked to Sonic.

"You be good to Stripes now. If not, well...you know me Blue. It won't be pretty." Scourge whispered in Sonic's ear.

Sonic sent Scourge a glare as he walked out of the room.

"Oh yeah!" Scourge exclaimed and leaned against the door frame. "Meet me at our regular spot tomorrow babe. And bring my jacket." Scourge said as he blew a kiss to Shadow.

Shadow smiled and waved bye. "I will." He finally spoke.

Scourge finally left and closed the door on the way out.

An awkward silence filled the room.

Sonic and Shadow stared at one another, not exactly knowing what to say to each other.

Sonic still had the visible blush on his face as he noticed Shadow was only wearing Scourge's jacket and no shirt. But Shadow kept the blanket pressed up against his body, embarrassed to show it.

"You do know what knocking his right?" Shadow spat.

"Huh?"

"Knocking? You hit the door and wait till someone tells you to come in." Shadow said sarcastically.

Sonic was a little annoyed. "Okay, I admit just barging in wasn't the best idea, but to be fair, this is my room too. You could have at least locked it while you two were....doing whatever."

Shadow rolled his eyes and then looked away from Sonic.

Sonic let out a sigh and looked around the room. "So..." he said breaking the silence. "How long have you two been together?" He asked.

"About 2 years, almost 3." Shadow answered.

Sonic finally had moved from his spot and walked to the empty bed a few feet away from Shadow's. "So you got together after you left?" He asked as he placed his stuff on the bed.

Shadow nodded. "Yes, I moved to another school and then met Scourge. A few months after he asked me out and I said yes."

Sonic unzipped his bag and began to take his stuff out. 'I can't believe he got together with Scourge! Doesn't he know he's a horrible person!?' Sonic thought.

Shadow was starting to feel more awkward as he was the only one half dressed.

Sonic saw that he looked uncomfortable and got an idea. "This is a pretty cool room! Its definitely big enough for two people. I'm gonna start putting some of my stuff in the bathroom." Sonic said and grabbed his toothbrush, shampoos, and other bathroom stuff.

Once Sonic got to the bathroom he put his things away and looked around. 'Now what am I going to do? The whole point of me coming here was to forget about my old life and start a new one! And now the one hedgehog I have every had a crush on his my roommate and dating the worst person I know!' He thought and walked out of the bathroom.

He came back to see Shadow in a grey tank top and black sweat pants. He was making his bed.

"So Shadow I-"

"Look Sonic, I know I've been M.I.A from the group for almost 4 years but that's only because I wanted to start over. I admit I wasn't the nicest person but I'm trying to change that. I moved away because I was tired of living like that. So I hope their is no hard feelings between us."

"You mean you want to bury the hatchet?"

Shadow nodded and walked over to Sonic. He extended his hand. "If you still don't like me or can't stand to be around me, I'll request a room transfer. I just don't want my past to ruin my future anymore."

Sonic smiled at Shadow. "I don't hate you Shadow. I actually never did. But I would love for us to be friends. The whole reason I came here was to start my new life." Sonic said and shook Shadow's hand. "Does this mean we can be friends?"

"Yes." Shadow said with shy smile on his face.

Soon after they released each other's hand and got settled into their new room.
