Niall Horan:

Things have changed a lot around here since Amy’s been living here. She keeps mentioning how the whole town only sees her as the rich spoiled girl who does nothing for this town but ruin it. I always tell her that she’s overacting, but the truth is that I’m lying.

Most people do see her as that stupid rich, spoiled, American who suddenly showed up to cause havoc. She doesn’t realize that life around here is far simpler than it is in Los Angeles. Yet, she does try to help in any way that she can and the town doesn’t seem to see that.

At this very moment, she’s trying to come up with ways to let the town know that she wants to promote the area far more than it already is. She wants others from different areas of the world to come by Crookhaven and see its true potential, as she calls it.

God, she wants to add a pier on the beach, which should have been considered years ago. Nobody ever goes out to the sea around here because there’s no pier. Not even a small one for the locals to go out on. It's something that we really should have done ages ago as this could be a great boating area.

She wants to create a website for the town. One in which she and anyone else would be able to add stories about the town and add pictures of everything. She would put an ad out everywhere to let people know about Crookhaven.

She mainly wants this for us. She’s doing it for the sake of the pub and inn. She wants for me to always have business, and never have to worry about closing down ever again. I guess she’s just looking out for me, but I don’t think she needs to worry about looking out for anyone but herself.

She even said that if all goes well, we might even build more homes around here. She wants to buy the empty unused plot of land at the end of the town to build townhouses. I'm not sure the locals want anymore people around here, but she said that they wouldn't be permanent residences. She says she can imagine Crookhaven as a location in which families could spend entire summers in. She said that the townhouses would probably be used on a month to month based rent. I think it's a great idea, not just for us, but for the town.

So like I said, she mainly wants this for us, but that doesn’t mean that her intentions aren’t to better the town, for the town. She wants to do this for everyone. And she insists that she will pay for everything.

She says she going to ask them for either donations of whatever amount they want to give, or for volunteers that will help with the process of making this town a better place, whether that is in building something or simply taking care of some things for the website. She doesn’t care what they do, as long as they all feel like this is a town project, because that is exactly what she wants this to be.

She knows that this will be best for everyone, not just us. The money we have is always circling around within ourselves ,and with the town fixed up, there will be no need to borrow any more money from the bank. There will be no need to cut back on spending or to save every penny, because there will be more circulating around with more people coming to visit the town. This is what she hopes they all get and understand from the presentation she has prepared for them all to see.

The town will soon see that I’m not crazy to want to marry, Amy. They will see that she isn’t the spoiled brat that they have always imagined her to be.

“Niall, I’m scared. What if they laugh in my face and tell me to leave?” I heard Amy say as she walked through the door and climbed onto the bed.

I was supposed to be making the bed, but the truth is, I got lazy and just laid down instead. I was certain that she would be upset if she saw me here in bed instead of having it nicely made.

I wrapped my arms around her waist to pull her closer, “don’t be. They have no reason to laugh in your face, baby.”

“But they do. They already think I’m some crazy little rich girl who’s out to destroy their town. They’re going to think I’m throwing my money in their face.”

“They don’t think that, Amy.”

“But what if they do think that I’m just flaunting it and rubbing it in their faces that they don’t have that kind of money? Because I really don’t want them to think that,” she said quickly.

“Amy, they are not going to think that,” I said to her calmly.

“How do you know, Niall?”

“I just know. Trust me,” I said with my lips pressed against her forehead.

She nodded slightly before sighing, “Okay.”

“Good,” I said while squeezing her tighter in my arms.

She smiled up at me before looking back down towards the bed.

“So, why haven’t you made the bed yet Niall?”

“Well, you’re in it babe. Can’t make the bed while you lying on it.”

“Wow, you would. But seriously babe, make the bed.”

Author’s Note: okay so this was weird. I don’t even know why I wrote this chapter at all. I guess it’s just a filler, maybe? I don’t know. It has nothing to do with anything but whatever. Umm yeah, I don’t even know what to say right now. I have like two chapters left and an epilogue so I’ll probably write that up soon and hopefully I’ll be done with this story in a few weeks or by the end of the month. Maybe. Hopefully. Okay well bye.
