Chapter 7

Alex's pov:

"Oi, Alex, can you come over here!" I heard Oliver say. Oliver Wood was one of my good friends other than Fred, George, and Lee.

"Sure thing Ollie!" I yelled back. "Be right back you guys."

"Wait, Alex, did you just call Oliver 'Ollie'?" George asked me, confused.

"I've called him that since my 2nd year. It annoys the hell out of him! Bye, I really gotta go!" I told the boys before walking down to where Oliver was sitting.

"Ollie, really?" Oliver asked.

"Oh come on, you know you love it." He rolled his eyes.

"So, Ally, how's life?" He started calling me that right after I started calling him Ollie.

"Not great, let's not talk about it. How's your life?" I didn't feel like going into detail about Sirius.

"What's wrong? You know you can tell me anything." He said. I told him about my talk with dad about my real dad.

"Alex, I'm so sorry..." That was exactly what I knew he would say. I hate it when people feel sorry for me. It happens enough when they hear about Snape being my father.

"Don't be. So Ollie, what did you want to talk about?" I asked. I was ready to go back to George and the gang to get a head start on planning out pranks for this year.

"Alex, I like you. I love you. I hope you feel the same way about me. Alex?"

I just stared at him. I had liked Oliver, but I always thought he was out of my league. I can't believe that he had to do this the same day as George. But I'm dating George, so should I tell him off, right?

"Alex, are you going to answer me? Alex?" I snapped out of my trance.

"Oliver, I..." He cut me off with a kiss. I tried to pull away but he put his hands on my head and forced me to deepen the kiss.

"What the bloody hell is all this about!" I heard George yell. Then there were sounds of punching and hitting.

"George, stop! Please!" I yelled. He immediately stopped.

"Why the hell was that prick kissing you?" George asked.

"Why do you care? It's not like you are dating, so I can kiss her if I like?"
George gave him a death stare and I grabbed George's hand. "Oh, so you are dating. I'm sorry, I didn't know. I had told Alex I liked her and she didn't say anything, and so I thought that I should kiss her. I don't know why exactly, but it just felt right. She tried to pull away but I didn't care. I'm sorry, to both of you." I felt bad for Ollie. He didn't know me and George were dating.

"I accept your apology, as long as I don't see you with my girl again." George said. I could hear the venom in his voice.

"Come on babe, let's go back to our compartment." He told me. I waved goodbye to Ollie and walked back to my compartment with George.
