8. Here We Go

Oh gosh! What did I do now? I didn't realize I had said it out loud until I heard him snort.

"It's not that it's..." he trailed off.

"You're not breaking up with me are you?" I joked, he caught it and laughed along with me. He quieted and put his hand in his hair and ran his fingers through it. "Come on spit it out."

"We have to go back to my parents." he finally said.

"Well that's not as bad as what I was expecting," I told him.

"What? Aren't you nervous?" he asked.

To be honest I was terrified. What if they don't like me? What if I'm not really his mate? What will they think when they find out I'm werewolf too? Calm down Simone you'll be fine. He won't let anything happen to you and you have Louise. I couldn't even think of losing him, I mean I had just met him and he kidnapped me, but he was my M-A-T-E and no one could take him away from me.

"Nope." I lied and popped the 'p' for extra effect.

"How do I look?" I asked Louise. We were in her and Drake's room getting ready to go to Lucious's parents' house. Appearently they found out about my mixed blood and were worried that we might get attacked. (They didn't know about James yet.) So now we were about to leave for their house.

"You look fine," she assured me as we brushed our hair and straightened up our outfits. I had decided on light jeans and a white and light grey striped sweater with my blonde hair falling on my shoulders in it's usually curly fashion. Louise on the other hand had on a white skirt with a dark blue blouse that brought out her blue eyes and her brown hair pulled up in a pony tail.

I smiled at myself in the mirror, the grey in my sweater brought out the blue in my eyes.

I had those kind of eyes that you could identify as unique. They were either pale grey or dark grey it depended on my mood and they had specks of blue in them.

She turned to me and put her hands on my shoulder "just be yourself."

I nodded and took a deep breath, "those are the same words you said to me the day we met."

She laughed as she shook her head, "the things you remember."

There was a knock at the door. I could sense it was Lucious, "are you girls almost-" I cut him off as I swung open the door.

"Yeah." He took in my outfit and when he finally met my eyes said, "you look great!"

"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself." He was wearing some faded jeans and a dark black dress shirt which looked really good on him even with his pale skin.

He grabbed my hand and led me downstairs all the stuff was still in the car and we would leave as soon as the sun came up and arrive when the sun was setting.

"Time to leave," called a man I think was our driver from the door. "Quickly or you'll all get burnt."

His eyes met mine and I heard him utter, "or at least almost all of you."

I giggled and Lucious gave me a wierd look, appearently he hadn't heard him even though he was looking right at him. Weird!

The driver gave me a look as I passed him. I smiled and whispered only so he could hear, "almost all of us."

He coughed to cover up a laugh but, it shone in his eyes. Drake caught my eye but I just smiled and got into the car or more like the limosine. I sat beside Lucious and across from Drake next to Louise.

"I don't think I've ever seen anyone make Denis smile." Drake pointed out as the car started driving.

"Who made him laugh?" Asked Louise.

"Moi," I replied in a French accent.

"What did you say?"

"It's a secret," I smiled to myself and sat back to stare out the window. "Here we go."
