It was a quiet night. Everything was calm and the gentle sound of rain could be heard tapping away at the walls of city buildings, a shadowed figure sitting in the wreckage of an abandoned building overlooking the city. Bringing his vape to his mouth, he inhaled a slow, drawn out breath. Afterwards, letting out a breath of the thick vapour which smelt faintly of chocolate. After repeating this process for a few moments, he got up, putting the device away and running off through the building to the rooftop. He would stretch a moment before running from the roof and jumping onto another nearby rooftop, bringing his body into a safety roll to disperse the force of the fall.

Meanwhile, in the nearby streets, a young man was walking home from picking up some midnight groceries... he felt a faint buzzing in his tattoo but nothing major so he just kept walking. Maybe it was a sign he would meet his soulmate soon... who knows?
