Three members of a regime gather to discuss the worries brought upon by their new member.

SIMON:
Still having not received any new orders, Simon chose to spend the day studying magic with Wayrren. The sorcerer had not devised a-. . . "curriculum" for him yet, which opened the opportunity to practice whichever spell piqued his interest the most. The first one that caught the apprentice's eye was a color alteration spell; it did not surpass his skill level, and would likely be of use someday.

The rose Simon had picked as his test subject, however, was still a crimson shade of red as the sun had fallen. He twirled the rose between his bandaged fingers, determined to master the spell before succumbing to sleep. "Did someone teach ya magic too, Wayrren?"

Wayrren: Plainly, "No," Wayrren spoke "my teachers were nought more than the books I slaved over." With that being the case, his title would be one of a Wizard.

The Courier: Was walking down the hall toward Wayyren's 'dungeon'; Study. He knew it would probably be best to let him know that he's set a makeshift early alarm system. He turned on his sonar and patched the sound into the PA system, that way if it detected anything the beeping sound would alert the entire castle. He comes to the door next to Caelum's study, he already informed him so he just needed to let Wayyren know. he walked over to the door and knocked bluntly. "Mr. Wayrren, I figured I should inform ya of somthin."

Simon: "They must be very important to you. . ." The young boy stated as he gazed in awe towards the book. Simon had the same potential to grow. He simply had to focus. After rereading the passage, the newsie noticed a section he previously passed over. Simon placed a piece of taffy inside the flower, and twirled it around. Once it halted, the cherry red had become swirled with candy green. The result was not precisely as he imagined, but he smiled at his progress. "Would ya like me to mend your damaged books?" Before Wayrren had the opportunity to answer, the knock echoed across the silent study. Despite the interruption, he wanted to speak with his fellow teammate as well.

Wayrren: Looking off to the door he gestured slightly for it to open on its own. "No, if you tried you'd only damage them further — if anyone, for that matter. Aye, what is it?" He looked on to The Courier.

The Courier: Taken aback by the door opening on its own, despite the lack of any system to allow it, The Courier walked in. Hands in his pockets he looks toward the two and says "I figured I should in-form y'all that I set up a basic ear-ly alarm system with the Tumbleweed's Sonar, I patched it into the PA system so we should hear it. I know anyone and everyone in the castle will be able to hear it thanks to Miss Lesedi... politely informing me of it."

Simon: The apprentice had laid his eyes on every imaginable blemish on a book, but he had never seen marks like the ones on the magician's books. Although Simon always heeded his leaders' words, he was not ready to lose hope. While Wayrren's attention was directed towards the gunslinger, he swapped one of the damaged books with his neatly folded newspaper. Once it was masked with the original's cover, the emerald-eyed gingerly slid the papers on to the shelf. "Well done, Courier. I am no where near Ren Ren's level, but it is a start." He said as he presented his rose before placing it into his bag. "Also, I should apologize for letting my anger getting the best of me the other day."

Wayrren: "Hmph, I was under the thought that I was alone when I cared for defenses." The news sat well within himself. "What happened 'the other day'?"

The Courier: Looking toward the lad he says "Naw ya'll had the right of it, I messed that sit-i-a-tion up just as much as Mister Caelum did." the comment itself from Wayrren caused him to put on quite a pained smile... clearly irked at the comment. "Well Mr. Wayyren, I would think you'd have a bit more faith in us. Like Hell I'd want us caught with our spurs off again. Now ta answer yer question, That stiff drink I went with Caelum fer ended with an especially ine-bri-ated Mr. Caelum stealing an expensive wine bottle of mine and locking himself in yer room, I'd assumed you knew that already. Now I admit some responsibilty fer that in terms of not realizing he never had a drank in his life and givin him what he asked fer, unknowin of his ig-no-rance of his sit-e-ation. Beyond that and returnin to the previous topic, If y'all hear a sonar blip sound, it might be someone comin nearby the castle, the range is pretty good at its current settin, so it should give us ample warnin."
