Pull?

Firstly,I would like to apologise as last Friday there was no update.It was due to Remya's Wattpad having some problems and so she didn't update and I was too lazy to. So sorry and here's another chapter for you!

Alexander's P.O.V

As soon as Hailey fainted I ran to her side and helped her. Lucas did the same thing. I carried her bridal style despite Lucas's protests. She was surprising lighter than what I thought.

When we reached home,I tucked her into bed and walked into the living room where Lucas was. "Lucas,right? What's going on? What do you mean by Hailey's mum death? Why are you still alive? How is it even possible?"

"Whoa man. One question at a time. Yes,I'm Lucas. Apparently the high council are after you.I'm sure you know all that shit. Hailey's mum died in order to revive me,the protector of Hailey. It was written long ago that it had to be that way. It was our last resort. I was meant to die and be revived. I can't change any of that. However,I'm glad I can see Hailey again. I missed her," Lucas said,grinning.

I growled lowly and Lucas put his hands up in a surrendering manner and said,"Dude. You need to chill. I get that you're acting this way due to the pull you feel but I can't be with her even if I wanted to. Sucks to be me but yeah."

"Wait. What do you mean by the 'pull' I feel towards Hailey?""Isn't it obvious? You two are the last of your kind. Obviously you are made to mate together. The pull is supposed to speed it up."

"Oh," was all I replied. It saddened me that the attraction I felt towards Hailey wasn't because we had a thing for each other. It was only because we needed to mate. I hate to say it but it hurts a little. I always thought I had something special towards Hailey but I guess I was wrong. But it didn't stop me from liking her. I liked her and that was all I ever cared about. And all I will ever care about.
