' She may be broken for a while, but that's okay. She's working on her because she's not one to leave a mess lying around. '
"He can't just get away with this." Carter shook her head in denial as she saw Tony enter her room in the reflection of the window she stared out of.
"And he won't. Look Carter, Danvers tracked him down on some planet lightyears away and - " Tony began as he sat himself on the corner of Carter's bed, nervously rubbing his hands together as he looked up at the light of his life.
"I'm going." She interupted, turning to look at her Dad with tear filled eyes causing his own to well up at the sight of her so broken "A-and not just for him, not just for Pietro but for everyone who he took away, for Sam a Bucky. T'challa and Scott, Clint's whole family!" Carter snapped as the tears finally began falling and Tony quickly moved to hug her safely against his chest "For Peter." She whispered, feeling her Dad tense momentarily before he too let himself break down, crying silently alongside his daughter as Pepper watched solemnly from the open door, one hand resting over her flat stomach before she quietly left the father daughter duo to grieve in peace.
Giggling alongside Morgan as she sat cross legged in the younger girls small pitched tent in their backyard, Carter snorted as Morgan's head droopped slightly from the weight of the blue and gold Iron mask situated over her small head.
Hearing a series of claps outside both the Stark girls looked up at the entrance just as it was finished with a "Chow-time." From their father.
Looking at one another, Carter silently brought her finger up to her lips in a shushing motion as Morgan covere the mouth Part of the suit to smother her own giggles.
"Cartalooloo, Morgoona." Tony spoke up jokingly as they heard one of the small kids chairs outside squeak as he sat down "Morgan H Stark, want some lunch?"
Quickly ushering the little girl from the tent, Carter slipped onto Morgan's hand one of the gauntlets and grinned as she heard her speak "Define lunch or be disintsgrated." Morgan adorably spoke.
Exiting the tent behind her, Carter pursed sher lips and almost laughed at her Dad's horrified look.
"Okay, you should not be wearing that okay that is a part of a special anniversary gift I'm making for mom." He chastised before kissing Morgan on her Iron cheek before carefully removing the helmet "This was your doing I suppose?" Tony smiled as he raised an eyebrow at Carter who innocently shrugged in reply "There you go, you thinking about lunch? Want a handful of crickets on a bed of lettuce." Tony teased the two girls.
"No." Morgan denied with a small smile.
"That's what you want." He nodded with a small smirk before holding up the helmet again and looking at Carter who honestly shook her head this time "Where did you find this?" Tony asked Morgan.
"Garage." The little girl innocently supplied as Carter crouched beside her.
"Really?" Her Dad asked.
"Where you looking for it?" Carter asked she removed the gauntlet from her sisters little hand.
"No," Morgan instantly denied as she fiddled with her hair "I found it though." Carter smiled before she stood up once again alongside her Dad as he lifted Morgan into his arms.
"You like going into the garage, huh? So does Daddy." Tony smiled as they began walking to the house together, Morgan holding put her hand for Carter to hold as the older girl did just that.
