Bursting thunderous musics, gaming noises and fuzzy crowdy murmurs; expressing thoughts and excitement. Those may be rowdy to hear, but it sounded like a love song to a boy's ears who posesses the name, Beomgyu. Why? It's simply because this is his utopia, the arcade.
He then clutched the dozen of tokens which are now locked with his right hand, once he stepped inside of his paradise in his school uniform. His pair of hazelnut eyes wandered around as if he's in his neverland.
"Time to dig in to my haven!" He muttured as the thrill crawled up to his face.
Beomgyu began to roam around and started to play what he wants. Childish or not, easy or hard, he played those smoothly as if all of the machines are just pieces of cake for him.
A proud smile crept to his lips after he finished playing the one of the hardest thing on arcade which requires a strong stamina and physical power, the dance machine.
Everything went to his fingers like an easy pea, but one thing.
He stopped infront of a machine which is familiar with everyone with the last three tokens enveloped by his palms. It's the claw machine, containing his all time favorite kakaotalk character, Ryan.
For the second time, he clutched the remaining tokens and determination consumes him.
He's good at every game from this arcade, but claw machine. He can't even get a single stuff from that since then. He hated it, but for now, he will surely do it for his plushie, Ryan.
His fingers finally landed at the controller as he dropped a token inside the coin-hole. He did nothing yet beads of sweats are forming to his forehead as he mumbled, "For Ryan. Three tokens for Ryan."
As expected, the first try was failed 'til the second. The plushie keeps on sliding in the metalized claw.
"Last try, Beomie. You can do it," he whispered to himself with resoluteness after he deposited the last chance and last token.
He pressed the 'start' button and the timer began to tick. He became anxious after he moved the joystick but his feelings got more intense when the claw slowly goes down, about to pick the flushie.
Yet the thing slid down, for the third time, making him nearly kicked the machine which he is really lame of.
His tongue was about to slid a curse, but Beomgyu noticed a strong presence behind him, causing his head to go down and step aside.
He looked up and watch a callant in his perfectly sculptured features, highliting his eyes and pointed nose to walk towards the machine. His visual compliments his uniform that happens to be same with Beomgyu's.
His jaw dropped for a second as soon as the guy smoothly frolicked the oh-so-hard game, and got one for his first try.
The callant turned around, facing Beomgyu. He then lend the plushie to Beomgyu, causing him to throw a questioning look to the odd guy infront of him.
"Take this. You've gave me a reason to fall inlove with being alive, and I will be the one to gave you things now," The callant smiled.
Beomgyu buffers, but his eyes gone big, as soon as realization hits him.
"Kang Taehyun?"
Taehyun's smile grow wider when Beomgyu stills in shock. He then said, "You're still the Beomgyu I used to love--no, the Beomgyu that I love and will love. You yourself is the reason for me to breathed."
Beomgyu's face goes in the darker shade of red with Taehyun's honey-like words.
"The little boy who plays a lot, with enlighting smile and laugh a song. You didn't change and that's what I love," Taehyun stopped as the right-side corner of his lips curved upward. "You're still lame with this."
Beomgyu's eyebrows arched after hearing those sentences. "What? Are you teasing me?"
Taehyun let out a chuckle as he lend the plushie which Beomgyu finally accepted then randomly asked, "But you know what? Though, you can't catch a hundred of plushies from this?"
"What again, Kang Taehyun?"
"You still caught my heart."
