When Chloe picked me up we went to her two bedroom apartment. I took a well-deserved shower, and I wore some of her clothes since I didn't have any.
I'm going to my mom's to get my belongings so I can get my own place. I need to start out on my own. But, ugh I have lecture today. This Monday/Wednesday schedule sucks sometimes.
"What happened this time CeCe?" Chloe asked me.
"My mom kicked me out because I can't stand her new boy toy," I said, memories of my dad still having a lock on my heart.
"CeCe I know your hurting but shouldn't you talk to her?"
"I'm going to my mom's in the morning so we can talk then. I need my stuff."

The next morning, I woke up to the sunlight shinning in my face. I asked Chloe if I could borrow her car, and she let me.
When I got there, glass was scattered everywhere. The table was flipped in the living room. I wasn't surprised, but then I say my mom crying on the couch. I closed the door and she looked up she said, "CeCe you won't believe it he broke up with me."
"Why?" I asked, trying to hold back saying I told you so.
"He told me I was too old for him," she said.
I hugged my mom and she kept crying into my shoulder. I never knew what to do when she gets like this. All I know is that I had to go because I didn't like living with my mom. I wanted and needed my own space. I knew it would break her more to tell her, so I just kept hugging her. And then she stopped...
" Oh baby! I'm so sorry I kicked you out, I was just so hurt. He drove me crazy."
" It's okay, Mama," I said.
After that, we cleaned up her house.
I decided to tell her I was leaving since she was more calm, but she busted out crying again, yelling, "Why do the people I love always leave!!"
I tried to tell her I'm only one phone call away. It was useless. She started throwing stuff at me; whatever she could grab. I had enough.
I went upstairs to pack my bags.
I need a job.
Starting tomorrow, I am on the hunt for a job and an apartment. I escaped out my window.
