Cherry's Pov
I woke up with my face pressed up against something warm. I squinted my eyes and saw that Patton and I were cuddling. Huh, I don't remember this happening. Either way, I was not complaining. I adjusted on purpose to try and wake him up, and I think it worked.
"Morning Pat" I replied in a groggy voice.
"Morning Cher" Patton replied looking down at me.
"Were we like this when we went to sleep?" He asked.
"I don't think so, but I have to admit you're warm." I admitted. Patton giggled making my heart flutter.
"I have to say, you are very warm as well" Patton told me. I cuddled closer to Patton.
"We have to get up and take care of the kids, don't we?" I asked. Patton sighed.
"I mean, a little longer wouldn't hurt?" Patton suggested. I giggled and grabbed the blanket to put over the top of us. I sighed deeply feeling safe, and loved.
"Hey, Pat?" I asked in a nervous tone. I felt that nervousness in the pit of my stomach.
"Yeah buttercup?" Patton asked looking down at me.
"I really like you" I told him with my face turning red.
"I really like you too" He told me rubbing my forearm. I smiled looking down embarrassed.
"Do you think *gulp* do you think maybe one day I can ask you out?" Patton asked stammering a little.
"I would like that" I replied feeling more red come to my face. I could tell Patton was smiling. I rested my head in the crook of his neck and just smiled uncontrollable. We stayed there like that for about 15 minutes before I coaxed Patton to get up and help me with breakfast. I changed in the bathroom back into what I normally wear.
"Good?" I asked Patton from the bathroom.
"Good!" He called back. I walked out fixing my glasses.
"Wow! You look beautiful" Patton exclaimed. I giggled.
"I look the same as yesterday" I told him looking at my outfit.
"I know. I didn't get to say it yesterday" Patton told me. I blushed.
"You're smoother than Roman sometimes" I told him kissing his cheek.
"Gosh, well thanks" Patton told me getting red.
"Breakfast?" I asked the blushing boy.
"Y-yeah" He replied. He held his hand out and I took it as we walked downstairs. The sun was barely coming up and through the blinds.
"So, any ideas?" I asked Patton.
"Bacon and Pancakes?" He suggested.
"Sure! Sounds good already!" I told him before we headed into the kitchen. We had fun laughing and singing along to songs, dancing, and making food with Patton. Everyone else came down, we ate, and watched Cartoon's until My dark strange daughter suggested we watch a Horror movie. My downfall. I shifted uncomfortably, but kept silent. Noah turned off the light as I jumped already. Patton looked at me in concern.
"Not the biggest fan of Horror movies?" He asked. I hugged myself and shook my head. I felt him wrap an arm around my shoulders. I leaned into him and sighed trying to keep thinking of happy feelings. The first jump scare happened and most of us jumped. Patton and I hugged each other scared out of our minds. Y/n got hugged and comforted by Thomas, Luna clung to Roman, and everyone else was unfazed. Patton and I stayed like that until the Movie was over. After we separated a little embarrassed, Patton suggested we watch something light hearted and I have to say I agree.
Thomas took Y/n upstairs and came back while sitting down next to Patton. It was Roman and Luna's turn to pick so they picked the greatest showman. I have a feeling that lots of singing is going to be going on in the next two hours. The first song began and we were already all singing.
All: Whoa-a-a-a-a
We were all clapping and stomping along while Roman sang the main part while we sang in the background. Patton and I sang 'A Million Dreams' together next.
P: I close my eyes and I can see

The sides clapped for us and I smiled wide. Patton during the song looked at me a lot which of course made me flustered.
"That was beautiful" Patton whispered to me.
"You too Pat" I replied leaning my head on his shoulder and wrapping my arm around his arm. Thomas smiled at us before we continued watching the movie.
