X1 are contracted to promote together exclusively for two years and 6 months the group given a five-year contract - the longest yet in the Produce 101 franchise.
During those 5 years, the first 2 years and 6 months will exclusively be with X1, while in the last half, trainees are allowed to promote with their original companies again. (Source:Koreaboo)
The members of X1 were decided through a combination of online votes from the past week with live text votes during the finale. Only one text was counted from each phone number, and the live text votes were worth seven votes. Combined votes reached 14,988,884
