I wanted him by my side
To protect and care
He opened the door
To the new world for me
But as I stepped up to see
There was only doubt and guilt
The suspicion made it worse
As the friendship was cut down by me
The pain i suffered was my foolishness
As i thought it was the hope to be
As the time went by the experiences made me see
The love i thought to be true was blinded by the sight of him
But as i drew back there was no sound of him
