He smiled and opened his mouth revealing his fangs. I closed my eyes and he came toward me and bit the side of my stomach.
I had no idea what he was doing but I was so scared I thought I might pass out. I hollered out in pain as his teeth went through my skin. When he was done I looked down at my side to see a huge bite that had went through the fabric of my tank top with blood dripping from it. I couldn't say anything, I just stared at him.
"I'll explain everything. Meet me here after school. Erica, Isaac, and Boyd will make sure you show up and whatever you do don't tell anyone about what just happened." He said as he walked away. The other three he called followed him. I think I have seen Isaac, Boyd, and Erica in school before but I can't remember. I felt my side hurting and held onto it with my free hand as I walked back towards my house.
I got there quickly and I kept my hand on my side the whole way. I'm not sure what he has done to me but I don't really care anymore. Anything is better than what I have now.
I walked through the back door and heard Gerard making noise in the kitchen. I put my crossbow back where it was and I grabbed my coat that was on the back of one of the chairs. I quickly slipped it on to hide my bite. I walked into the kitchen slowly. "Amber. Where have you been?" "Nowhere important." I refuse to tell him where I have been, it's not like he shares anything with me. He held his coffee cup in his hand and he took a sip out of it. "Well then, have a good day." I nodded and walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs.
Allison was coming down the stairs. She looked at me and slipped past me. I stared at the back of her head as she walked away without even saying hello. It doesn't surprise me but it still hurts.
I walked the rest of the way up the stairs and into the bathroom. I undressed and looked at my bite. It looks gross so I jumped in the shower and quickly let the water wash over me. After my shower I got out and put a bandage on my bite. I slipped the towel around me and walked to my room. I shut my door and quickly dresses in my favorite t-shirt and jeans. I don't dress up like Allison does but I could if I wanted to. I just prefer to dress in jeans and a comfy t-shirt. I slipped on my converse shoes and grabbed my black hoodie off the back of my closet. I let my hair hang down naturally and put some lip gloss on. I grabbed my bag and walked down the stairs.
My dad was in the living room with Gerard drinking his coffee. I passed by them in a hurry and they didn't even notice me. Allison use to drive me to school but I don't even bother to ask anymore. I have to walk, which doesn't bother me because I get to walk right along the woods.
I walked quickly along the side of the road. The wind picked up and I held onto the bottom sleeve of my hoodie. I heard the sound of a car behind me and I moved closer into the woods. I turned around curiously when I heard the car stopping.
It was Stiles in his jeep with Scott. He rolled down his window and pulled over to me. "Need a ride?" He asked. I nodded. "Sure." I climbed into the back seat. I should have just walked but I can't be late. Scott looked at me curiously. "This is Amber." Stiles said as he drove down the road. "I know. Hello amber." "Hey Scott." I clutched my side as a sharp pain washed over me. Scott was watching me like a hawk and noticed my discomfort. "Are you okay?" "Um...yeah." I removed my hand from my side and moved my hair from my face. "I'm fine." I said more clearly. He didn't look convinced.
"So...get any sleep last night?" Stiles asked. "No, not really." "It will get easier." He sounded sure of himself but I don't know if it ever will. "I hope so."
The rest of the drive was quiet until we pulled up to the school. We got out together and Scott took Stiles aside as I walked towards the school doors. I couldn't hear what they were saying but Stiles looked shocked. I stared at them for a few seconds and then walked through the doors. "Amber! Wait up." I heard Stiles calling behind me. I turned around and he stood there with a worried look on his face. "What?" I asked. "Uh...we need to talk." "I have to get to class. Can we just talk later?" He sighed. "Fine but we really need to talk." "Okay. See you later." I said walking down the hall.
