"Walter we have been staking out this joint for ages we know we want the shifters, we have photos and proof of their alpha Eric. Let us just talk to them and see what happens" Xander reasoned to Walter.

Walter looked up from the evidence they had gathered of the shifters before sighing. It really wasn't much and he still had questions. One which he decided to voice to Xander.

"How did you manage to find the hang out for the shifters? We kept losing their trail. Everyone knows shifters are harder to find then a toothpick in a haystack" he voiced and watched Xander carefully as he looked up ahead, deep in thought.

Something was wrong, what he didn't know but Xander had been off for the past couple of weeks since Xander bought forth the initiative to add other beings into their task force. It had excited Walter, their weapons were a joke and crime was rising.

Walter didn't move as Xander turned to him, he kept his composure under Xanders intense gaze.

"Tell me does your daughter know what you do Walter?" Xander asked. Walter froze and Xander smiled before getting out of their car.

Walter cursed before he chased after Xander.

He reached out and pulled Xander to a stop, forcing him to turn and Walter put on his best fake smile.

"Alright let's go, I don't like that they're in this club but we are running out of time. More and more deaths are happening to humans and our weapons are doing nothing we need insider information" Walter sighed and Xander smiled nodding and together they walked on ahead.

Walter though couldn't shake the feeling he was getting deep inside him. Something was off with Xander and he wish he could put his finger on it. Despite it all, Walter had to push it aside, they had found the shifters. The one group that could never be found unless they wanted to be found.

"Alright we go from the back alley, we can't be seen coming in from the front or we'll lose Eric for good" Xander said as they avoided the dumpsters, scrunching their noses at the stench.

"Makes you wish we had cool gear or something to not go through the dumps" Walter said earning him a small laugh from Xander who nodded in agreement.

"Alright my source said the door here will lead us to the VIP lounge and the shifters often take the lounge in the far corner away from prying eyes" Xander explained as he pointed to a door ahead that had a big no public access sign plastered on to it.

Looking closer to the door, Walter noticed a key pad and he felt his stomach drop. They were slow close and were now going to be stopped by a silly code. Xander though, wasn't affected by it and walked right to it typing the code.

The unsettling feeling came again to Walter but he said nothing and followed Xander inside into one of the darkest and quietest clubs he had ever seen.
