Your parents were undercover policemen and policewoman. Instead of handcuffs, they have superpowers. They'd catch criminals, when the criminal would least expect it. You come from a family that has super powers. Sadly, your powers hadn't come in yet. Your powers wouldn't be available to you, until the time was right.
A criminal, by the name of Haden Hall, was the leader of a gang. The gang is known as "The Cold Ones." They'd take out anyone that was in their way. Those who didn't give Haden money on time were the main target. His side hustles were guns, drugs, etc. Anything you could think of, Haden would sell it.
Y/m and Y/d spotted Haden at a 24 hour gas station. They walked into the gas station, to witness Haden holding the cashier at gun point. The cashiers' eyes held fear, worry, and anger all at once.
Haden: "GIVE ME THE GOD DAMN MONEY." Haden yelled at the cashier, at the top of his lungs.
Right when the cashier, was going to hand Haden the money. Y/m made her fingers into a gun sign, which caused fire to shoot out of her fingers. The fire traveled into Haden's body, causing him to die instantly. Haden's corpse fell to the cold, hard, ground. Y/d made an L shape with his arms, which caused light to come out of his hand. This light transferred to Haden's lifeless body, and his body soon disappeared.

The cashier released a breath, she didn't know she was holding. She didn't know how to thank Y/m and Y/d. She's forever thankful that they saved her life.
Y/m: "No need to thank us, its our job." Y/m said, with a small smile.
Y/m: "Stay safe, ya hear?" Y/m said.
Cashier: "Will do." She said, with a big smile on her face.
*At the Morgue*
One of Haden's goons, known as Red Eye, was notified that one of his old friends died. He had to identify the body. The morgue worker pulled the white sheet back, to reveal the body to Red Eye. As soon as Red Eye looked at the corpse, his eyes held sadness and anger.
He looked at the morgue worker and nodded his head once. The morgue worker gave Red Eye a sad look. The morgue worker placed the white sheet over the rest of the body.
Morgue Worker: "I have to go down the hall, you can let yourself out."
Red Eye nodded his head, and the the morgue worker left the room. Before Red Eye could leave, he hears a phone go off. He immediately recognized the ringtone. It wasn't just anyone's ringtone, it was Haden's ringtone. Out of curiosity, Red Eye followed the sound of the ringtone. It led him to another corpse. He carefully pulled out the gurney and pulled the sheet back.
Low and behold, Haden's deceased body was right in front of him. His jaw tightened and his eyes darkened. He was furious and he wanted to execute whoever killed Haden. Red Eye walked out of the morgue, determined to seek vengeance.
