Wow, Grace you're such a good student, oh my gosh you're so smart, marry me! Grace is always the class pet. Every teacher loves her and she has straight A's.
I do to and you don't see me sucking up. I lay low and stay clear of being social. I don't like talking, to anyone, or in general. I would rather just sit in the back and do my work and not talk to anyone.
The bell rings to go to 4th period and I dread going. Communication class, the class where you have to, you know, talk.. I mean I also want to go to. But that's not important.
Class starts and the teacher starts calling up students to present our projects. We had to make a speech about something we're passionate about and all I'm really passionate about is reading all day and studying. But that wasn't really an easy topic to write about, so I chose going to college and becoming a nurse! Hey, that's why I'm really here in school for though. To graduate and go to college.
"Alex, you're next."
Ahh, yes Alex, the upperclassmen who could give a less of a care about school. He never pays attention and never turns in his work.
"Uh, Mr. I forgot it at my house."
"So you forgot it at your house again? For the like hundredth time."
"Yeah, sorry."
"Well that's going to be 10 points deducted everyday it's late okay?"
"Okay."
"Katlyn you're up next."
She starts talking about saving the animals and how we can help better the environment not only for us but for the animals. Katlyn volunteers at the animal shelter 4 times a week after school and always talks about how awesome it is and all the organizations she started for the animals.
Don't get me wrong I love animals and I want to live too, but she pushes it to an all time high.
"And don't forget you can come and talk to me about joining any of my organizations!"
"Class give her a round of applause."
She smiles and sits down.
"Class will be ending in 4 minutes, the rest of the time is yours."
Everyone starts talking and I go back to studying for my test on Thursday till the bell rings.
I go to lunch and wait in line to get a slice of pizza and buy some chips.
"Okay so you know the cute junior in my English class? Yeah you do, anyway he talked to me! I mean it wasn't hey I like you, it was more of a can I borrow a sheet of paper, but that's progress I'm I right?"
I smile and nod. Ally is always talking about the "junior" and how cute he is but I don't think anything will happen.
"So Rose, how was your day today? Did you know who talk to you?" She asks nudging me and smirking.
I blush and roll my eyes.
"No, of course he didn't."
"You know you have to make a move right?"
"No I don't, it's not like you talk to the junior or anything."
"Okay fine."
"Exactly."
We eat our lunch and talk some more and start heading to 5th period her class is in another hall so we part our ways.
I go to the restroom to pass some time and go on my phone for a bit. I head out to class and wait in the halls for the bell to ring. While i wait I see you know who walking down the hallway, towards his class, only 2 classes down. I make my usual move and face the other direction to avoid embarrassment and him you know, seeing me.
Nothing happens as usual and the rest of the day goes by normally, nothing happening at all.
