Y/N's POV

I woke up and had a headache, looking to my left I saw an unfamiliar room, to my right a massive poof of black-red hair and two wolf ears sticking out of it. the poof of hair shuffled and then moved up turning into a wild Ruby.

Y/N: God, What happened last night?

Ruby: I don't-- oh Oum why does my head hurt so much.

Y/N: Wait, I think we did it.

Ruby: You mean--

Y/N: Yes.

Ruby: Did you use a...

Y/N: Yes.

We both let out a sigh of relief before I pulled out my scroll to find several videos of what happened outside of my memory.

Y/N: To simplify this it looks like we went to a club where I got drunk and you ate I don't even know how many cookies and got a massive sugar high. Then we came here and well you know the rest.

Ruby: We should go back to school.

Y/N: Yup, but first we need to get cleaned and dressed.

Ruby looked down and noticed what I was referring to.

Ruby: R-Right.

We made it back to Beacon and entered our dorm being met by two very smug faces.

Yang: So...

Blake: What happened with you two last night?

Y/N: Don't. Just don't.

Yang: But-

Ruby: Yang please we aren't in the mood.

Yang: Alright. Are you two feeling Ok?

Blake: Yeah you don't look so hot.

Y/N: I have a hangover and Ruby...

Ruby: I have a massive headache.

Weiss comes bursting into the room to which I give her a death stare.

Y/N: Quiet.

Weiss backed off and then slowly walked to Yang and Blake.

Y/N: Look, Weiss... Sorry, it's just... both Ruby and I aren't feeling the greatest.

She collected herself and then began to sleep while you activated your regeneration on the alcohol still circulating in your body and on Ruby.

Weiss: Would all of you like to come with me to the docks this afternoon?

Blake: Sure.

Yang: Got nothing better to do.

Ruby: I'm starting to feel better so I'll come too.

Y/N: My Aura kicked in and expelled the alcohol so I'm good.

Weiss: Wonderful- Wait, Alcohol? What did you two do last night?

Y/N: That's NTK information Ice Queen.

Weiss: Hey!

(Timeskip brought to you by Y/N and Ruby watching the rest of the videos on Y/N's scroll the night before and looking at each other wanting round two.)

Weiss The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!

Ruby: I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss. *frowns a little* It's kinda weirding me out...

Weiss turned to Ruby.

Weiss: How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!

Yang: *sighs and crosses arms* You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.

Weiss: Quiet, you!

We stopped near the dock and a foghorn can be heard from a nearby ship.

Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?

Y/N: At a guess something to benefit the Ice Queen.

Ruby: Ugh, they smell like fish! *covers her nose*

Y/N: Ah it's so nice to be able to weaken my senses.

Ruby looked at you pouting while you just shot a smug smile back.

Weiss: I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And, as a representative of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom!

Weiss starts to walk off.

Blake: She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament.

Weiss: *scoffs* You can't prove that!

Y/N: *to Yang* *Hey have you noticed that Weiss and Blake seem to be arguing a bit more than normal?*

Yang: *Yeah, either one of them isn't in the greatest mood or they are on their... *noticing you looking at her with a face saying you understand what she's talking about* TMI?

Y/N: *Just what you were saying at the end there.*

Ruby: Whoa.

Y/N: What's up- Oh that.

We all turn our attention to a shop front with yellow police tape over the shattered windows and the door kicked in covered with more tape. We walked over to find out what happened.

Ruby: What happened here?

Detective 1: Robbery. Second Dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.

The detective went over to his partner.

Yang: *sighs* That's terrible.

Detective 2: They left all the money again.

Ruby: Huh?

Detective 1: Yeah, just doesn't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much Dust?

Detective 2: I don't know, an army?

Detective 1: You thinking the White Fang?

Detective 2: *takes off sunglasses* Yeah, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough.

Ruby: *turns to me* *Y/N you hear that only dust*

Y/N: *Yeah, sounds like a certain fancy-hatted snake.*

Weiss: Hmph! The White Fang. *Crosses her arms and sticks her nose in the air closing her eyes* What an awful bunch of degenerates!

Blake: What's your problem?

Weiss turns to her.

Weiss: My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane.

Blake: The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. *crosses her arms, her face turning serious* They're a collection of misguided individuals.

Weiss: Misguided? They want to wipe anyone who disagrees with or angers them off the face of the planet!

Blake began raising her voice and looked somewhat annoyed.

Blake: So then they're very misguided. Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale!

Ruby: Weiss, Blake has a point. Besides, they never caught that Torchwick guy Y/N and I ran into a few months ago... Maybe he did it.

Y/N: It is his m.o. you never know who does these things until they're caught and even then the cops can get it wrong.

Blake had cooled off a bit but then Weiss decided to open her mouth again

Weiss: That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum.

Blake's anger came back and seemed to grow even more.

Weiss: Those criminals only know how to lie, cheat, and steal.

Yang: That's not necessarily true...

???: Hey, stop that kid!

We run over to find a monkey Faunus running down a boat before he leaps onto the docks just barely avoiding capture.

???: Thanks for the ride, guys! Haha!

???: You no-good stowaway.

The Monkey King impersonator uses his tail to hang on a lamppost while he peels a banana

Monkey: Hey! a no-good stowaway would've been caught! I'm a great stowaway!

Y/N: I like this guy's style.

You teleport up to a nearby lamppost.

Y/N: Hey Monkey King mind if I join in?

???: Sure! Name's Sun Wukong!

Y/N: Y/N L/N.

We both messed around with the cops for a bit before jumping away running past RWBY, Sun winks at Blake while I wink at Ruby.

Y/N: Bye!

Off in the distance, I hear Weiss running after us with the rest of RWBY on her tail but Weiss bumps into someone as we jump up onto a building and make a getaway.

Sun: Dude, that was great!

Y/N: Hell yeah it was! I have to introduce you to Nora and Yang we could do so much.

Sun: That sound like it would be fun!

Y/N: Here take my scroll number and I'll call you when I want you to meet her. *you give him your number* Alright I gotta dip that was technically my team that was chasing us so I should probably get back down there.

Sun: Alright. See ya later bro!

Y/N: Later!

You waved and then dropped off the roof you were on teleporting right before you hit the ground stopping your momentum, landing you softly on the ground, before going back to team RWBY.

Y/N: Yo. That the girl you knocked over Frosty?

Weiss: It's Weiss and you know that! And yes this is Penny.

Penny: Sal-u-ta-tions!

Y/N: Nice to meet you Gears, I'm Y/N L/N

Penny: That is an interesting nickname friend Y/N where did you get it from?

Y/N: You know where. *Beep boop.*

Penny: Oh! How do you know that?

Y/N: *The noise you made when you feel.*

Penny: Okay. I assume that your friends already know that you are human. But what about the strange energy radiating from you?

Team RWBY: What strange energy?

Y/N: Penny! Why'd you go and say that? Now I'm gonna have these four asking about it for ages.

Penny: Oh, was that supposed to be a secret.

Y/N: Sort of.

Blake: What is she talking about Y/N.

Ruby: Is it that thing that happened with the fight against Cardin.

Y/N: Yes and no.

Yang: What does that mean.

Y/N: Guys just let it slide for now. Ok?

Team RWBY: Fine...

Weiss: Well sorry for running into you Penny.

They start walking away leaving both me and Ruby.

Y/N/Ruby: Take care, friend!

Yang: She was... weird...

Y/N: Looked like she was from Atlas.

Weiss: Now, where did that riff-raff run off to?

Penny suddenly appeared in front of Weiss.

Penny: What did you call me?

Yang: *Looks down apologetically* Oh, I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me!

Penny: No, not you.

She walked to Ruby and I leaning her head in our direction.

Penny: You!

Ruby: Me? I-I don't know. I, what I, um, uh...

Y/N: Rubes we called her friend.

Penny: Did you really mean that? Both of you?

Ruby: Uuuum...

She looked to me for help

Y/N: Sure, you're pretty cool Gears.

Team -WBY somehow uses cartoon physics and comically faint. Penny, however, grows a smile and laughs.

Penny: Sen-sational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!

Y/N: Those ain't my cup of tea, but, hey who knows I could really like getting my nails painted.

Ruby: *Groans* Oh, Is this what it was like when you met me?

Weiss: No- She seems far more coordinated.

Yang: So... what are you doing in Vale?

Penny: I'm here to fight in the tournament.

Weiss: Wait, you're fighting in the tournament?

Penny: *salutes* I'm combat ready!

Y/N: Yup. Definitely Atlas.

Weiss: Forgive me, but you hardly look the part.

Blake: Says the girl wearing a dress.

Weiss crosses her arms

Weiss: It's a combat skirt!

Ruby: Yeah!

Ruby had disappeared from your side and reappeared near Weiss, who put out her hand and Ruby low-fived it.

Y/N: I think my power is leaking a bit more than usual. Two law manipulations in relatively quick succession. Whatever I'll just activate the seal a little more.

When you tuned back into the discussion Weiss had somehow managed to piss Blake off even more and Yang managed to get you all out of the situation shortly as it was getting late.

(Timeskip brought to you by Y/N, Sun, Nora, and Yang hatching an evil plan to fill Beacon with Pancakes.)

Weiss and Blake were still arguing, meanwhile I was on my scroll in a group chat with Nora and Sun.

Y/N: And then I'll cook them while you two distribute them across the campus.

Sun: Nice! That sounds Awesome!

Yang: I can't wait to see what Goodwitch does!

Nora: As long as I get to eat some!

Y/N: Yeah, Yeah sure Nora. Anyway, don't forget.

Nora/Sun/Yang: Ok/Sure bro/Yeah I think we need your help.

Y/N: GTG.

I put away my scroll to see Blake running out the door.

Y/N: I'll be back.

Ruby: Y/N, Blake, wait!...

I followed behind Blake as she reached a statue of a man and a woman standing over a Beowolf. Before you notice a familiar friend and smile.

Y/N: Hey Blake, what's up. You too Sun.

Sun: Hey Y/N how's it going.

Y/N: Pretty good just chasing after a certain kitty.

Blake: Whatever you have to say--

You threw her some Lein.

Y/N: Use that to get a hotel room and text me the address. Don't worry I won't tell the others.

Blake: Thanks.

Y/N: I'll come over at midnight that should give you some time to settle a little.

Blake: Why are you--

Y/N: As cliché and cheesy as it sounds, you're my friend and I care about you.

Blake's face brightened a little.

Y/N: Sun, just don't be a creep.

Sun: Why would I do that?

Y/N: That's what I like to hear.

(Timeskip brought to you by Goodwitch waking up to a Beacon covered in fresh pancakes and three evil laughs echoing throughout the campus.)

Ruby's POV

Ruby: Blake has been gone all weekend and Y/N's been gone about the same...

Weiss: Blake's a big girl, she can handle herself! And Y/N is Y/N so that's the only problem take what he did this morning.

Yang: Those pancakes were goooood, he is a hero thank you very much.

Ruby: I'm surprised Nora didn't have more.

Weiss: Now that you mention it she did eat a lot less than normal...

Yang: Uuuh... I'm sure it was nothing! Anyway, Weiss, Blake is one of our teammates and technically Y/N is too.

Weiss: Is she? We all heard what she said! And Y/N could be working with her.

Ruby: Weiss. Don't.

Weiss looked at me with a look I'd only seen once from her. When Y/N fought Cardin.

Weiss: *collects herself.* S-Sorry Ruby that was too far...

Ruby: Damn right it was.

Yang: Maybe Blake is, maybe, even though it is very unlikely and I don't believe it myself, Y/N is. Or maybe they're both the same people we know and we need to find them because they're missing!

Ruby: I just hope they're ok...

A/N: Surprisingly didn't write this at midnight. 2222 Words I'm pretty sure that's the longest so far. The next chapter should be the end of Volume One then I might do a Bonus chapter before moving onto Volume Two.
