Chapter4- Made It.

Recap:
"Bye ma, I love you too."

I hang up and I go to drink a glass of water.

As I drink the water, tears fell down my face and I cried.

'I'm sorry Alex. I really am.' I thought as I wiped my eyes and went to the bathroom where they both were.

"He fucking slammed her on the goddamn car. Like who does that!" He said in frustration. He sighs and combs his hair with his right hand.

"What did your mom say? Is everything under control?" Amanda asked as she disinfected Alex's cuts and wounds. "Yeah everything is ok, she said she was gonna send my dad to check up on Jose." I said and winced when I leaned against the door frame and got off of it.

My back felt like it was sore and burning, It felt like my shoulders were weighed down. And my cheek felt hot from when Jose slapped me across the face.

Amanda then disinfected the scrapes on my knees and my elbow. She lifted up my shirt and gasps. "Holy cow! What the hell!" She said and I desperately asked what was wrong.

"Alex get my make up mirror in my room, it's on my night stand." She said and turns to me.

"When you look at it your gonna be surprised but don't worry. It's just a bruise." She said and Alex hands me the mirror. I turned my back to the bathroom mirror and and sat on the sink, I held the make up mirror in front of me so I could see it.

Amanda lifts my shirt up and I gasped. "Oh my god." I said. I let down the mirror on my lap and cover my mouth in shock. "I-I a- Jesus Christ." I said and teared up. My eyes became glossy and tears fell down.

I was completely speechless.

"Its ok. It's ok. I'm here. Don't worry." Alex said as he hugged me and caresses my hair. "I'm so sorry Alex, I really am." I cried out and he just "sshhhh. It's fine. Don't worry. It's gonna be alright." He said and kissed my forehead.

"I'll get you some clothes Kat. I'll be right back." Amanda said and went to her room. "I'm sorry Alex, I didn't think that Jose would do anything like that. I really am sorry. Please forgive me." I said and he rubs my hand with his thumb and cups my cheek as tears fell down my face.

"It's not your fault, you don't have to apologize. You did nothing wrong." He whispered and kisses my cheek.

I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him tightly crying harder and saying sorry multiple times.

I really was sorry, my brother had just harmed the one I loved.

Amanda comes back with shorts and a tank top for me and I thanked her, I changed in the bathroom when they both walked out, and she took my clothes and washed them.

I head to Alex's room and see him by his desk fixing a few things. I stare at his toned chest and closed the door. He looks up and walked over towards me and hugged me.

I grabbed my hands and led him towards his bed. And he laid with me. I turned over away from him and felt his arms around my waist and his head into my neck just leaving small kisses and I hummed.

"Goodnight Katrina." He whispers in my ear and kissed the back of my head and I said goodnight to him as well and slept.

The morning...
August 14 1962

I woke up early and got dressed into my clothes Amanda washed and dried. And my mom comes to pick me up.

"Thank you so much for taking care of her, I love her so much." My ma said, Amanda and Alex were talking with my mom and we then went home.

When we got home I saw blood stains on the patio and nervously walked in the house and my pa hugged me.

"Your ok! I thought something bad happened to you!" He said and patted my shoulders and my mom hugged me as well. I go to my room and rest for the day. Mom said I could go to school tomorrow and not today.

The Next day
August 15 1962

Today was the cheerleading tryouts, and I was looking forward to it. I really hoped I was able to join because I really think I'm capable of joining the team.

After a few hours of school tryouts was starting and we all had to meet at the gym. I walked in the PE lockers and changed into my PE clothes. I then walked out and saw many girls in a line and the cheerleaders were sitting on chairs with a table in front of them.

"Abigail Lenin! Your up!"Sandy said and puts Dow the clip board onto the table and leans back in her chair.

Abigail does a wonderful performance and stands back in line and then the next, after many girls were done showing what they can do, it was my turn.

"YES! Oh my god I fucking did it!" I screamed barging into Amanda's house I ran up to her room and busted her door open and screamed!

"I MADE THE TEAM!" I yelled in excitement and Amanda jumps off her bed and yells as well! We hugged each other and jumped in joy and laid on to her to calm down.

Alex walked in with a confused look and opens his mouth to speak but I cut him off by kissing him on the lips and saying I got on the team!

"Holy shit, really?!" He said and I nodded my head rapidly and hugged him.

He spins me around and kissed my cheek, "I'm so proud of you!" He said and hugged me again.

I was so happy! I couldn't contain this joy in me.

"I have to tell Cassidy. I got to go! I'll see you two at school, bye babe." I said kissing him on the cheek one more time and then raced home to call Cassidy about the great news!

Ah what a day it's been.
