Thump.

"Gods of Olympus- why aren't there any monsters at night?" A girl, no more than thirteen years old, emerged behind a tree holding a bow. "I get permission from Chiron- and then the monsters disappear."

"Hey kid, they're just sleeping. I told you we should've just went earlier." Will Solace, from the Apollo cabin, stepped out from behind the tree, sheathing his dagger.

The girl rolled her eyes. "You were too busy flirting with Nico when I told you that we should go."

"Aina! That wasn't flirting! That was..."

"Flirting." Aina deadpanned, taking her bow near her neck.

The bow shone and shrunk into a necklace that Aina is now wearing. "Let's go back."

Will nodded and peered through the dark forest. "I still don't get why you have the coolest weapon ever."

"Because I'm friends with Leo Valdez." Aina grinned.

After the war with Gaea, Leo had vanished for months, coming back with Festus the Happy Dragon, and well, Calypso- his new girlfriend.

"C'mon." Will grabbed Aina's arm and ran towards the camp.

Their home.

"They're here!" Percy yelled, and the whole camp's heads shot up- staring at Aina and Will's intertwined hands.

"Before you speak, Will is my brother- and he's head over heels for Nico. Thank you." The whole camp laughed, but Nico... Well, he had plans to kill Alyssa. It'll have to be in private, though.

Moments later, the campfire was ablaze(thanks to Leo and his fire thingy) and everyone was singing to the chorus of Mama Gaea is my World. Aina was in deep thought.

Mama Gaea is my world

She lets me plant the trees

As literal as this

She gives me the chills

For her sleeping face looks like hills

Aina jerked in shock as she felt Piper sit beside her. "What's the matter?"

"No charmspeak Pipes." Aina told her warningly, and sighed. "I can only be in the camp for a week this summer. I have to leave."

Piper looked at her, alarmed. "What? Why?

"Don't worry, I'll be back soon... I just..." Aina's tongue felt like sandpaper. "I need to see... Him..."

Piper's eyebrow's shot up. "Him? You mean- But why?"

"It's something... But mostly, I just miss my friends." Aina sighed. It was her second summer at camp- and she wasn't used to not seeing her friends' annoying faces everyday. She could Skype them, but Camp Half-Blood doesn't really have wi-fi.

(The demigods were allowed to use phones and the internet- long story how they realized that using the internet doesn't necessarily attract monsters.)

"You're going to visit them?" Piper spoke softly. "I could come with you-"

"Jason needs you more than I do." Aina chuckled dryly. "I talked to Chiron, he said it was safe for me to fly. He asked Lord Zeus himself. Though it took a lot of convincing from Lady Artemis."

"It's more than being with your mortal friends, isn't it?" Piper glanced at Nico, who was smiling faintly, almost as if he doesn't even want to smile.

Aina sighed. "Liking a son of Hades and a mortal both at the same time doesn't really boost up my confidence. Specially because one is gay and is almost dating my half brother and the other is dating my best friend."

Piper sighed and shook her head. "I'm sorry about my mom. She likes drama."

"Nah, it's not your fault. Or Aphrodite's." Aina stood up and stretched. "I need to sleep early, I have some stuff to do tomorrow. I'll see you Piper!" The young girl walked away, waving as she did so.

"You know, when she talks, she doesn't sound like a thirteen year old." Jason appears, wrapping his arms around Piper. "I'm really worried about her..."

"Yeah, she's the baby of the camp." Piper replies, still looking at the direction where Aina went.

Jason scoffed. "You mean, the one who beat all of us in everything?"

"You're bitter."

"Am not!"

Aina groaned as she shut off her alarm, cursing silently. "Why did I have to set my alarm so early?" She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Well, time to get up."

"Time to shut up!" An Apollo  kid, about sixteen, yelled from his bed.

Aina rolled her eyes and headed to the bathroom.

Why do I have such annoying  brothers and sisters?
