Synopsis:
A mother who is a faithful Jewish woman chooses to go to lengths beyond ones imagination to keep her daughter Gemma, who is also an Atheist, from becoming an astronaut. Reason: Her mother does not believe in space. After Gemma and her girlfriend Rosslyn run away to San Diego to join Rosslyn's aunt who promises Gemma and Ross a job, Gemma's mother decides to give matters to someone else. Will Gemma die trying to chase her dream or will her mother finally accept her? Watch as a mother who will stop at any means to shelter her daughter sees clarity and as a daughter with ambitions fights at nothing to make them real.
