I'll Watch Over You

Baby

Dean P.O.V.
AC/DC vibrates through my soul into the night, straight from my Impala's speakers. Crisp air bites my cheek and my already numb hand that hangs from the driver side door.

"Oh, Sammy, what am I gonna do with you?" I ask to no one In particular as I look over to the passenger seat and watch my baby brother snooze, what looks like a bit of drool covering one side of his cheek and my window. I crank up the music and roll down his window, laughing hysterically as he wakes up with a start, bumping his head on the ceiling.

"Damn it, Dean!" He groans as he rubs his skull.

"Well, Sammy, its not my fault your so damn tall. I swear I only made you eat miracle grow once!" I say with a sneaky grin, trying to hold back my laugh.

"What!?" He turns, startled, back to me.

"I'm kidding!" I laugh as he shoots daggers at me with his eyes.

"So where are we going anyway?" He says as my laughter subsides.

"The roadhouse, of course. Ash is gonna help us with some research." I say.

"Is that really the only reason?" He asks while giving me a smirk.

"And...and I've, uh, gotta talk to Ellen about something." I stammer out.

"Oh sure." comes his reply.

About three hours later I pull up to an old hunters bar and climb out of baby, stiff from sitting too long without sleep. As we walk toward The Roadhouse, a tinge of excitement sends a small shiver up my back, as I see a blonde head turn towards the window I'm looking through. I swear I see her grin as she turns back toward the glasses lined in front of her.

"What are you boys doin around here?" Ellen greets us both with a hug as I sneak a sly glance towards Jo.

"Well we've been trying to find a case for a while but nothing out of the usual popped up, which is quite weird seeing as how the demons where let loose." Sammy replies cautiously, "We thought maybe Ash could help us to find something we couldn't."

As they keep talking, I sidle up to the bar and, eyeing Jo, say "Where's my beer?"
She gives me a look but I see the corners of her mouth turn up as she turns her back to me and I watch as she swoops low to grab one.

So.. what do you guys think? This is my first story and I'm a little nervous. And btw I really don't know exactly were I'm going with this, I just really wanted to do it cause I love Dean but Jo is the only other girl I want him with lol. Let me know if its shitty?
