"YVETTANASHA!” I got up from bed panting. I feel like my lungs hadn’t been working for minutes.
Sumisikip ang dibdib ko na parang pinipiga iyon kasama na din ng ulo ko. Ang sakit! Nasasaktan ako! S-sobra… so-sobrang sa-sakit!

“Tasha, Okay ka lang ba?”

“Anong nangyari sayo?”
Agad nabaling ang atensyon ko kina Venus. Nasa magkabilang gilid ko silang apat. I just suddenly felt like my heart were being squeezed again making my eyes teary. I stared at Venus; she was looking straight at me.

“Ven…” I tried stopping my tears from falling yet it still fell. Starting from one tear to a nonstop downpour, it was like a rain.

“It’ll be fine, Tasha.” Venus’s hug was cold and so did her voice was but I somehow felt its warmness in my heart. I never thought my life would be as an ironic as this.

Strong yet weak…

Powerful but couldn’t do such thing…

A royalty though acts like a pauper…

“I-I’m just simply a weak loser”
I gripped on Venus’s clothes, hugged on her tighter and hoped that I can by some means protect her once more like I used to. I just really wish I could when I can’t even handle my mood swings that well.

† Third Person POV †

The girls went outside as soon as they finished feeding and getting dressed. As the usual sight, it was snowing outside the castle.

They were in the unhabituated city on Russia—unhabituated with humans to be exact—it was the most convenient place for the vampires to live on Earth. Having a kingdom on the human world was indeed hard for every living Mythaeans.

There was an unspoken rule for them to not meddle with the human’s lives and it also applies for humans to them, but as the world gets modern, it changes. The Mythaeans, got to live with humans as normal, make business, go to school and do such things like any human does.

Though, only a number of humans know about the existence of the Mythaeans, they always made themselves safe from being discovered. Never to get discovered for humans are greedy of almost everything, they’re always curious and do all things with their power of imagination.

If encountered with such beings as them, humans would always want to know the answers of what they are. Experiment for power. Sell anything for money. Expose any living for fame. Vampires are disgusted with their modern brain that they always make their distance at any cost.
However, Tasha and her friends got into a human organization for fighting. It was only for fun at first but they become important persons in it.

It was the underground world; the world of mafias and gangsters. In that world, the girls became the third most powerful in the whole human world. It may be for dark work but the responsibilities they had to handle were no joke.
