Cash and Mav

What the heck!?

After I watch 1 episode of Stranger Things, maverick walks into the room looking really sleepy. "Hey mav!" I Greet him. "Good morning" he replies in a groggy morning voice.
He makes himself some breakfast and sits down next to me.
"Oh you watch ST? I didn't know that." Mav says.

"Yeah. Well I Just started. I'm at episode 2 now."
"Cool"

We watch another episode together and then he asks, "Where's Cash?" I look at him confused. "What do you mean Where's Cash?! He's at a meeting!"

Maverick looks like he's trying to remember something. "We didn't have any meetings planned for this whole month! We're getting some free time off."

My mouth opend a little bit. "What!? But where is he now!?"

Maverick strokes my shoulder. "Hey. Don't assume the worst! Maybe he's getting you a surprise?"

I look at him still confused. "But why would he? It's not Valentines Day of my birthday anytime soon. We have nothing special coming up!"

"Just forget about it for now okay?" I nod. "Okay."

After another episode I close Netflix and tell Maverick om going to get Starbucks. He tells me to get him an iced latte and gives me some money.

Ha, like I don't have money. Jk he's Just being polite.

I walk to Starbucks wich is only a few minutes away. I order Maverick his iced latte and for myself a Cookies And Cream. I don't feel like coffee now, since I had some in the morning.

I dit down at a table and wait for the drinks to get ready. As I'm waiting I look around. Nothing special, but then something catches my eye. The back of a tall blond boy with blond Hair.

I watch as the guy is making videos with a girl. It looks like tiktok.
I decide to watch the 2 kids for a little longer to see if it's Cash. But... It can't be right? He said he was at the meeting!

And friends don't lie.

The boy and girl turn around to walk this way and then I see it. What the heck!!
It's Cash..

I start getting really mad and upset. Why would he lie!? I mean he could've Just told me he was going out with a friend! Does he not trust me?!

I get lost in toughts until a voice snaps me out of it. "Lenna?" My head snaps up. "An iced latte and a cookies and cream for Lenna?" I look into the direction of the man. Of course. My drinks.

I walk up to him and grab the drinks. I thank the worker and checked my phone one last time before I left again.
As I'm putting my phone back in my pocket I hear a girls giggles. I look outside to see who's making the girl so happy, and I see she's with Cash.

I'm probably thinking the wrong thing about Them, but it still hurts a bit. I start walking towards the door, but then it happens..

Cash kisses that girl. He kisses her! What the heck!?

My eyes fill with tears and I run out the door. I run past the 'couple' crying. I was going so fast, they never could've recognised me.

I was kind of hoping he would. That he would see it's me, and that he realises that he fucked up and that he's a fuckin asshole!

I run home crying all the way.
(She kinda lives with Them now so don't be confused)
I lost the drinks on the way, but I don't care. I open the door and slam it closed.

I Just break down even more and fall on the ground sobbing my eyes out. How could he?! How dare he!?

I think Maverick must have heard me slamming the door or me crying, or Both. He runs towards me. "Hey hey hey what's going on? Are you okay!?"

I look up at him still crying. "H- he- che- chea- ted" I manage to say. I guess he understood it cause his mouth opens a little. He pulls me on his lap and hugs me. "I- bu- that Just doesn't seem like him! He's too Sweet for that! Too innocent."

I hold onto him tight. "Yeah. That's what I tought."
We Just sit there for a few minutes. Him Just listening to me crying.

"Thank you." I say. "You are always there for me. Always when I need someone you hug me and let me cry on you. You actually listen to me. Even when I'm not making any sense! When I'm sobbing my eyes out you listen, and you hug me like I'm not gonna be here tomorrow! So Maverick. Thank you. You're the best bro I could ever ask for! And I love you!"

He looks down at me and smiles. "I'll always be there. I love you sis!"
