Ramona's P.O.V
"Ramona. You motherfucking sleepyhead, wakey!" my annoying sister Racquel shouted.
"Five minutes, I'm still sleepy. I slept late last night okay?" I said
"That's not an excuse, I slept after you slept. But we need to go to school, okay?" my sister instructed while pinching my cheeks really bad.
Okay fine I'm going, argh... I then stood up and went in an instant bath and hurried and polished myself.
I don't eat breakfasts, honestly I'm that type of persons who thinks eating at early morning is too tiring.
"Ramona. Where are you? The assembly is starting. Get your ass here ASAP." my bestfriend Zandra texted
"I'm on my way. Reserve a seat for me beside you." I replied then hurried to the assembly hall.
When I arrived there, I was finding a hard time searching for Zandra. Where the hell is she? Ughhh. Let me text her.
I am running onto every edge of the hall, but I couldn't spot her, and then until I bumped into this tall guy maybe around 5 foot 8 tall. I looked up, and saw his sparkling golden brown eyes, his thick lashes, his black messy hair and the dimples on his cheeks.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bump you." He apologized, his voice is so cuteeee. <3
"No. It's okay. It was my fault anyways." I said smiling at him. He's too cute omg.
"Are you looking for someone?" He asked
"Oh yah. I'm looking for my bestfriend, Zandra. She said she's just here for the assembly." I replied
"Assembly? The assembly is located at the other wing of the university. You've went to a wrong spot. " he said
Shiiit. There's no way I can go there on time.
"This is for the mass offering later, and I'm the one assigned to do the keyboard." he added
"Thank you so much." I said thanking him with a smile.
"I guess I have to go now" I added
"Wait. What's your name?" he asked
"My name's Ramona. You are?" I replied
"I'm Alden. Nice to meet you Ramona." he said
And I smiled at him when I was about to leave the hall he called my attention and said
"By the way, you're really pretty and kind-hearted. I like you." he said
I turned back to him and gave him an are-you-serious face and he just winked at me.
I then smiled at him and left the hall. I contacted Zandra she said the assembly ended already, we'll just meet at out classroom A-6 Northwing of the University. Thank God, I'm on the A floor and northwing. I found our classroom right beside where I'm standing. See how I'm lucky sort of right now.
I entered the room and sat on the chair located at the last row of the room, I reserved a seat beside me for Zandra. Every minute, the room started filling up. Where the hell is Zandra? After 15 minutes she finally arrived.
"What took you so long?" I asked
"I was lost, thank a guy told me where this wing is. Anyways, where have you been?" she replied
"Oh I went to this wing instead of the other wing, I went inside the assembly hall in the northwing and found out that the Mass is happening there. I also met a cute and kind-hearted guy named Alden." I shared
"Ooh. Alden. Alden in the first day, seems interesting." Zandra said
"Come on, Zands. I don't like him, he's just cute and kind and all. And he plays keyboard and I'm pretty sure he's a sophomore. We're just freshmen you know." I said
"Okay then if you say so, Ms. Alden I mean Ramona." Zandra started teasing.
Our professor came in, when she was checking the attendance, the door opened, it's Alden.
I elbowed Zandra and whispered
"That's Alden. The guy I'm talking about"
"He's really cute. You're so lucky Ramonaaa." Zandra started pinching my cheeks as if it was Alden.
"I know." I replied smiling while my cheeks are burning.
"Oh. You're Alden Rivera?" the professor asked Alden
"Yes. Yes I am. Sorry I was late, I was volunteering to play the keyboard since the keyboard master went absent." he replied
"It's okay. You may sit, beside Ms. Ramona. That girl on the last row wearing neon ribbon." the professor said
OMF. OMG! Zandra then elbowed me and moving her eyebrows up and down. Stop it my cheeks are burning.
Alden sat beside me and said,
"I've met you earlier right? Seems like destiny is working."
"Haha. Yeah. I met you awhile ago. I thought you're a sophomore since you know all the places here?" I asked
"Nah. It took me an hour to familiarize the university anyways." he said
"Oh I see. So what's the next class you'll be going in?" I asked
"Oh. Economics, what about you?"
"The same. Wow. hahaa." I said laughing.
"Ramona and Alden. Seems like there's something going on already." the professor teased us
I shooked my head as my classmates started teasing us, Alden then stood up and said,
"Oh. She was my first love since kindergarten." after that he sat down holding my hand.
I looked at him with a questioned look he just winked at me, wow.
Zandra elbowed me and whispered
"Is it true?"
"No. I just met him today. I don't know why he did that." I replied, still Alden was holding my hand
